Who really cares anyway? In Killzone they have mastered space travel but they still use centuries old weapons :P.

Personally I never got why people would use lasers. On average nerdy literature suggests they moves slower then bullets. Hell if the droids had guns there would be no Jedi. If any props to all nazi spacemen for sticking to what works and not going with the next shiny object.

Yea because you know so many peopel will buy KZ3 based off it having 4x the texture quality.Devlopers are asked technical questions about there games and they answer them you think they do it for hype purposes? Hell the next COD will out sell it by 5x and look like complete trash, they realize graphics are not going to make the game sell.
And yet here we are discussing graphics, here we have developers talking about graphics, here we have millions of dollars spent on updating and creating new engines to make better graphics, here we have graphics quotes being placed on the back of box arts. The aesthetic generations would demand no less.

Confirmed: Killzone 3 the PS3, can get not better, look no better, sound no better, there can be no more enemies at that level, no more extra particles or the thing will just burst into flame. Thats it we are done folks, go home, PS3 has peaked.

I must be blind but the only difference I can is something that I feel could be chalked up to a contrast and brightness setting. I swear the people that do these comparisons have some astronaut/sailor/pilot vision, I keep hearing about these texture differences and shadow variations and what not but for the life of me I can never see them!
haha, big talk. This falls in line with people who want to to go off to the Army or Navy after playing some call of duty and seeing those flashy gritty TV commercials. If you want adventure go find it. If you want to kill, rape and maim, hell all power to you, I doubt you would get very far if anywhere. If you are bored in life its because you yourself have created a boring world around yourself.
