@Dannystaples14 I agree but I just feel like the reviewers choose to punish some games for it's length (too short) and others they are ready to ignore, for example gone home is super short, one guy even finished it in 2 mins /watch?v=5g3trvkAFQw , it just doesn't seem consistent
OK now you're complaining about the games' length, I thought it was the quality of the experience that mattered, wasn't that being said when defending gone home etc. and I don't necessarily disagree with that argument but damn it make up your minds
people treating this as if it's the end of a console that is yet to be released, relax people unless you have some sort of resentment towards the console
@Zensora I am not complaining about my self satisfaction with the scores I am complaining about their COHERENCE, and if the numbers aren't meant to be taken seriously then why are they there? that's what I am trying to say
I am not here to complain about the score, but may I suggest you abolish the whole score system because it is really not doing anyone any favors. To us it is just confusing when you see COD:Ghost getting an 8 which is the same score as TLoU and State of Decay when clearly both of those games have much higher standards and mean a lot more to the gaming industry.I know that the review is not just the score it's the paragraphs but the number you put on it the review almost takes away from the arguments you make in your review because I can't just take the arguments you make and leave the score I either take them together or just ignore the whole thing.
Maybe if your reviews were more like kotaku's people would actually read the damn thing and just get rid of this joke of a number system you have .
I know it's unfair to judge this without playing it but I played all the AC until revelations, I must say it's BS that the score 9/10 is reserved mostly for recycled sequels
