@north arrow. I've been paying for XBL for a decade (i have no problem with it paying for it) and it just got free games this year. I'd say it's more worthwhile now than ever before. I'm with you though, I probably wouldn't have bought many of the games they gave for free. However I'm glad I got them for free because a lot of them are fun games.EA Access is a great deal as well. UFC coming on Thursday!
If you read the article you'd see that the difference is due to free games being available 6 months longer on PS as well as the vita games are included in that total
@tuckpoint. I actually liked ryse more than the reviews gave it credit. Good story, great graphics, solid combat that wasn't very deep yet still entertaining. The QTE became more useful when playing on legendary making it more entertaining. Multiplayer was ok if playing with a friend but could have been better. I'd say it is worth $20-$30,
Titanfall is fantastic for people who like multiplayer FPS. I absolutely love that game. Definitely play it if you like that kind of game. Also, you know that the Xbox one (with Kinect) can do things that neither the ps4 or pc can do right?
Aside from the fact that not all One exclusives come to PC and a lot of them are delayed more than half a year, there are other non gaming features you get with the x1 that a lot of gamers enjoy and want
myXbox one is my favorite and most used console so far this generation. Definitely a worthy purchase. It really adds a level of convenience not found on the other systems. The graphics are fantastic despite all the resolution hoopla on the net. There is honestly no significant difference in the graphics at this point (excluding wii u from now on because it is a different breed of console imo). Both systems (ps4 and xb1) have a lot of fun games now so for those of you still on last gen I think this year would be a great time to jump in. I give the nod to Xbox one for having more fun games so far (titanfall is a major player imo). I would also recommend getting ea access because it is a great deal! I hadn't played battlefield since titanfall came out so I sold it and Madden to gamestop for $40, got ea access, still get to play those games for a year (at least), get to play the other games that come to the vault and get the discount and early play access, and I made a profit in the deal. Overall I think both systems are pretty even in the games department. When it comes to other features (multimedia), I think the Xbox destroys in that department. My phone is going to die so I can't finish my thoughts on why it excels at everything outside of gaming. I'll just finish by saying this to Those of you who can only buy one console: The ps4 is a great console.it has a lot of fun gamesand is a quality piece of hardware. You will definitely enjoy your purchase.however I would recommend the Xbox one for most people. I think it is the best overall console based on its features outside of gaming (multimedia capabilities, online network, Kinect is great and also recommended, Skype, convenience, support). I welcome all replies, even though I'm sure some will be angry fanboys
