Kylo Ren is fucking annoying but yes, hes one of the best villains ever created in Star Wars. So much depth and personality.

And if some of the "leaked" things (which accurately predicted the demise of that person) are true, we will see that there are a lot more to Kylo Ren than simply some guy trying to be as strong as Darth Vader. He's a story of great tragedy and sadness that rivals the story of Anakin himself.

You mean the story of a whiny, angsty teen who falls in love with the first girl he sees when he's 10? Yeah great depth there.

There was an article recently claiming that aside from any actual technical or artistic merit, Star Wars is mainly famous simply because it is so famous. People reportedly have gone to see it, not because they have any love for Star Wars, but because everyone in their extended network of friends, family, classmates, co workers, and random hobos have seen it and are recommending it. That's precisely how you become a staple of pop culture.

The latest total is that it's grossed around $611 million worldwide, (and it doesn't open in China until Jan 9th.)

@Kevlar101: I remember when a very new and somewhat annoying poster named Kevlar101 first came to OT. If I'm not mistaken, he had a Dark Side of the Moon avi, I think? Whatever happened to him?

They should have done some kind of improv on the spot, like Steve asking for the crown back, the woman refusing, and Steve ends up chasing her around the stage, Looney Tunes style.

There were a LOT of parallels to "A New Hope" but I did like a lot of the little touches.
