[QUOTE="BlaZe_irl"]hmmm, u lot have the privilege of witnessing the greatess driver in the history of F1 race, yet u dont want to...sure he might of parked his car here n there, are tried to knockout a few other guys, BUT he has given me 5 of the best f1 seasons since i started watching (1998, 1999, 2000, 2003, 2006). In 20 years time when the younger generation get into F1 and see Schum's records, odds are they wont give a toss (or not even realise) about his controversies. Anyway we all have our opinions i guess, so theres mine :DNapster06Agreed. He might have some hitches here and there, but is there any other drivers that can match his skill? Well, most might say Alonso and Raikkonen, but I highly doubt that. They might be good racers after the Schumacher, but I think MS records will stand tall until the end of the world. P.S. There is even a period in F1 called after him - The Schumacher Era. Exactly, seasons 98 and 99 were the best I've seen thanks to the amazing Schumi-Hakkinen rivalry. You don't see that level of skill very often in F1, Alonso and Raikkonen are potential candidates, but they still have to show more talent.

In a modern F1 car there simply isnt enough room for a manual foot clutch and a gearstick. I think TC should stay but should be set only to help to s certain extent, say 50% Do you include power steering as a driving aid? If so no F1 car will get around the hairpin at Monaco.KimisApprenticeWhen I think of it, the old drivers are really the true legends, and not the current drivers ! (no offence intended to current drivers!) Then again, with much more speed now, drivers need "a few" driving aids, but notice only "a few" and not full traction control, high power steering, high braking assistance and the likes of that!
the thread wont last as long if its only realistic stuff

lol, I guess u r right! :D
[QUOTE="kipi19"]What do you expect, F1 isn't a sport anymore, its a business, so as like normal buisnesses, it has to be boringBlaZe_irlLOL i can imagine it now.....the ITV intro showing people in suits and briefcases and saying "FormulaBusiness", then james allen saying "hello everybody!" and pretending he knows what hes on about. Then brundles gridwalk (him whering a suit naturally) will be a walk around some conference room with a big table and seats...The actually race will be a meeting with all team bosses now renamed "FormilaBusEntrepaunrehurntuoss" and the winner will be the person who comes up with the stupidest F1 rule, examples are CDG wing, engine freeze, one tyre supplier and so on. Crazy innit lol
lol, or may be the drivers will also be wearing suits and sun glasses!
We got a full grid for the first time! :D
This season is going to be very competitive! :D
I meant that others might benefit and get some ideas from others to do during the winter break! ;)
