[QUOTE="Symphonycometh"]Let's talk about "the game":P
I beat the final boss eating pizza in another room.
That's good gameplay...seeing I missed most of the battles. X you had to stay there and use strategy. Tell me how much gameplay I did by holding the analog up to move them so the gambits could go.

In FFX, you can beat almost every bosses by using only attack. Most of them will die before they can kill one of your characters. That's just freaking ridiculous. One time, while fighting that machina before the ice temple (forgot the names), I switched back to cable, mashing X until I heard the PS2 load, which meant the battle was over. How lame is that? That's not what I call strategy.
In FFXII, turn off the gambits and play it like a real FF, where you control all characters. Powerful marks are very tough when you have to heal yourself as well as controlling your attackers to keep positive status. Hard games are awesome. Keep the battle mode as active, and you'll also need a lot of skills to kill the strongest bosses.
Gambits are horrible. Since when games playing themselves are fun? If you want to enjoy FFXII, turn gambits OFF!
My friend said "But what fun is there to tell all your characters what to do?" Umm, that's what you do in every RPGs and you like RPGs...
you obviously didn't play the game or you wouln't say that. Of course first battles are like that, but that's it. I remember the battle with the monster that you have to push off a cliff, or the one against yunalesca where she turns you to zombie, or the one at the last temple where you have to constantly move over the circle-like platforms to avoid the tail attack... c'mon, are you serious?
