i am very happy with the 360, im mainly a pc gamer but i really love it, had it for two weeks been playing it alot. bought dead rising, fight night round 3, guitar hero 2 and table tennis, plus downloaded a few games, i like marketplace and the free demos. I love the wireless controller and the console controls, its a slick system. I have a three year extended warranty from bestbuy becuase unlike my pc the 360 does not have great cooling so im not taking any chances! :)

However a few things bug me. For one, i like the idea of live but the wifi adapter is so flippin pricey. 130 bucks canadian is a total rip off for one, and running a cable through my whole house to my hd tv is not an option. Second, i like the ms points for buying games, but the prices are crazy. 800 points for each game is too much (i am canadian so maybe its cheaper in the states but 2800 points costs 44 bucks with tax ;0). but other than that, ive had a great time with it, enjoyed the games i bought and the ones i rented and overall the system is just sweet.

Hey guys, I'm pretty much set on buying a 360 tommorow or sometime this week.  Ive read about the hardware issues and all that but i still choose 360 over the other consoles based on the games.  I was just wondering if when i buy a new 360, it will have the same chance for the red lights like older versions.  Have microsoft addressed the issues?  I guess since im going to get it from bestbuy i should probably get the 2 year extra warranty with it.
