It hasn't meant the decline for pc games which require online.  The problem comes in when a come is focused on a single player experience (except for total war games, they will sell well regardless).  Games like Wow and its expansion have sold like crazy, fps's like hl2 epi 2, crysis and the new ut will sell like crazy also.  Don't worry about pc gaming, its here to stay :)

On topic, its great news for 360, and its looking like 360 is becoming a very nice console choice this gen

Wow, some of you really do sound like whiney little fanboys, now the bashing of capcom begins becuase they want to make money and they have put out some good games on the 360?  Youll still have your exclusive ps3 games anyways, are you really that upset over it?  Seems kinda sad to me, capcom will most likely bring over dead rising or its sequel anyways.  Typical fanboys - when a company doesnt do something you want, question their integrity like Emitsu...

Mario for sure.  Helped to establish nintendo after the video game crash of 1983.  Very popular series on the nes.  Great snes game.  Mario 64 was also amazing for its time (and still fun). Great Ds game too. I also have to say sunshine isnt as bad as some people say, very imaginative.  So Mario!!!

People say the same things about Computers when the latest tech comes out, too pricey!!!  I wouldnt consider ps3 ahead of its time, simply cutting edge (once the games start showing off the cell that is)

Well you can look at it two ways.  I agree its just fiction with a historical setting.  Miller is trying to spin the battle his own way with over the top gory battle scenes. Obviously when you understand the history behind an event, you can appreciate a personal interpretation.  I can still see why some people would get upset, just in the same way as the Greeks are loving it so much.

The Spartans fighting for Greek freedom, standing up to the barbarian horde of Persia, Greece is just eating it up!! haha.  And a movie like this can shape opinions, come now you all know the power of media to shape peoples minds about things.  Espcially since so many people are too lazy to read up on history or they are so gullible to believe that whats portrayed in a movie must be true.  When the Spartans proclaim they are fighting as free men or whatever, their are free men on the backs of Messenian and Laconian helots.  I wonder how many Greeks that go to see the movie also realize half of the Greek states, weren't even sided with the Greek resistance before the battle of Thermoplylae, many simply rolled over the Persians considering the strength and size of their empire and army,  and the good will the Persians demonstrated in many cases to subdued peoples.

Well I guess Ramey feels that most people must have really bad eyesight if they are still choosing regular dvd's over the new formats ; 0.  Perhaps he could enlighten everyone how much they are missing out by not choosing hd-dvd or blueray!!!  A quote for you:

"In the end, there just aren’t enough good movies available for either format—and the difference between this and regular DVD quality, when played on a fine, fine HDTV, just aren’t that noticeable unless you’re a geek. So take our advice and stick with your regular DVDs for now, next year, and until all DVD players come standard with Blu-Ray, HD DVD, or whatever technology wins. By then, DVDs will probably be Blu-Ray or HD DVD by default, and you won’t even notice—and the price will have come down to $20 a pop. Unlike the DVD revolution, the differences here are just too small to be noticeable."

How many people actually need to upgrade to HD-DVD or blue-ray.  How many consumers at home need to upgrade their regular dvd collections?  Its nice if you own a ps3 to get a blue-ray player with it i guess, that way you dont need to go out and buy one.  But really, this isnt like the step from VHS to DVD, or like Casette to Cd's, theres just not the big leap forward in technology here to validate updating your dvd libary to either new products.  I have  a newer hd tv, a newer dvd player and component cables and to me the picture is beautiful.  Im sure having hd or blue ray dvds would make them look a bit nicer, but not enough to validate upgrading.

The jump in technology isnt big enough to create the demand that vhs to dvd did.  People are also not willing right now to pick a side when its not even clear which side will win.  Just a big waste of money if you ask me.  I don't know why fanboys fight over these two products as if they are the next big thing.

Its too early to say a game has maxed out the system, comon now.  I remember dynasty warriors 4 and 4 - empires was so choppy on ps2, and then koei came out with dynasty warriors 5, which pushed back the fow, and even increased a bit (i think) the numbers of soldiers on screen, who knows what people will be able to coax out of the 360, still too early to say.  I'd be more worried about dev's taking full advantage of the cell and ps3, and getting to the limits of the ps3's potential, rather than 360 already reaching its limits

Theres no reason to rush out and get one just as the same was for the 360 after it came out, no real selection of game yet. ill wait until christmas this year, and if by then the ps3 is worthwile then i may pick one up.
