I really like them keeping the old build as a Beta on steam, that's nice of them.

Haven't had any issues pre or post patch, but I'm sure someone will find it handy and I can't think of any other big releases like that using the feature in that way.

I think the game is excellent, and I've not had any fatigue with the combat yet.
It's not as complex as most of Ace Team's other games, but what's there is well done, and the presentation is done so well I never really noticed much.

@DraconisRex: What makes it a console? Most of them are existing mini itx machines the vendor slapped a steam logo on. Surely that doesn't make something a console?

@skootbootz @Musharasur @polarisaegis @Samslayer Bayonetta is a very different game than gow though. It's more like the old Devil may cry games. Much more emphasis on combining skills together, cancelling moves into other moves, things like that.

GOW is much more of a straight forward hack'n slash game.

@polarisaegis @Musharasur @Samslayer Nintendo in many ways also don't have much choice. They're in dire need of 3rd party titles and considering everyone else turned the project down and it was going to end up in limbo indefinitely, Nintendo probably got a decent deal on it.

@Epidemik04 Pro controller is the way to go, it's actually really good. Probably my third favorite controller now, neck in neck with the dual shock 4 and the 360 controller (haven't tried the xbox one controller yet).

Also get yourself wonderful 101, it's a fantastic character action game. Kinda looks like Pikmin but it plays Platinum as hell.

@brockelley @amafi 120 is what you want for a 3d hmd. Anything less than that isn't going to be great.

@brockelley You're not going to get acceptable performance out of a sub-$1000 PC at 4k. Maybe in 3 years, if you really get lucky with deals and discounts. But most likely not.
