Forgive me for asking so many questions, I'm here to learn. :)

Ok, I've realised that RAM wasn't mine exactly and I can't really find any that has the same latency so I might as well replace the sticks with two 2GB sticks. Am I free to choose anything if I'm replacing the RAM or do I need to match something?

EDIT: In my motherboard manual I've found a table called...

"P5K Motherboard Qualified Vendors Lists (QVL) DDR2-800MHz capability"

It lists loads of types of RAM, the RAM that's in my comp at the moment's on the list. The RAM I'm thinking of getting isn't. Is it just a case of this RAM not existing when the manual was written?

Not sure what some of you are on about to be honest.

Will any of these cards work in my computer?

I have this RAM (exactly), do I have to get the same type? What exactly do I need to match? And is it as easy as just plugging it in?

Thanks for the help though guys, really appreciate it.

Might as well post it here...

Recently my Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS 320mb graphics card has decided to die so I need a replacement. Don't know a lot about hardware so I don't really know where to start, obviously I need it to be compatible with the hardware that's already in my computer.

So I need some advice as to what to go for, don't want really want to upgrade anything else in my comp so I don't want anything over the top. £150 tops, give or take. Not sure what you need to know about my comp either, but here's what I have...

Windows Vista

2GB DDR2 Corsair RAM

Intel Core 2 Duo Processor

ASUS P5K Motherboard

500W Power Supply

Wouldn't mind adding some more RAM though, would I just get the same as I have to boost it to 4GB?

Who reported my message?

That was a serious question

Anyway satan is a good guy because he tortures the bad guys for being bad. If satan was so bad then surely hell would be heaven to all the bad people

I have three computers connected wirelessly to my router and i get the same problem on all three when someone moves or knocks the router. To fix it we just make sure all the cables are in and just wait, eventually it connects, usually the next day
