opened the game.exe file and it worked but there has not been an install process the game just runs??

What do mean by that? I checked my install and I can run the game from both game.exe and sun.exe. If you're having problems, just get a torrent of it. The game's free anyway.

Seriously, its great for PC gamers that the PC is the lead system for BF3.

QFT. I like how DICE are developing this game. They're trying to get as much from the PC version as they can while simultaneously pushing the consoles to their limits and delivering the best experience they can. In the end, you get a PC game which stays true to the PC expectations and comes with all the bells and whistles you'd expect from a good PC game, and a great product on the consoles, one which will simply blow every console gamer away. The real question is, if DICE seems to have managed this why did Crytek screw everything up?

It's gonna be a prequel focusing on how the Norwegians from the start of the movie dealt with the thing.

Meh, I'm pretty sure I've played this MP version in the past 3 CoD games. Small maps with nooks and crannies where a player can embed themselves until the next fragtastic player takes my spot. I'm only interested in the SP, so this demo didn't do anything to sell me.

Strange. I'm on Windows 7 x64 as well and it works fine.

You could try running as an administrator or running in compatibility mode for Windows Vista or XP. Failing that, the download could be corrupted and you might have to download again.

Just tried it. Doesn't work. For what it's worth, I've updated to SP1. Maybe that's what's causing the conflict? Will there be a steam version? My net speed is terrible and I'd rather download it via Steam now.

Warhead has an installation limit of 5, dunno about Crysis. Here's the deauthorization tool for Crysis Warhead(click on the warhead boxart to download it). Run the tool before uninstalling the game to free up a slot. That way you never cross the installation limit.
