[QUOTE="and851130"]Yeah i know my mobo sux for OC i have been looking around to upgrade my mobo and Ram but i dont know what fits better on my setup, any sugestions? Im not upgrading my GPU right now cuz im waiting for the G8s they say is coming out mid march can i get good mobo and ram for about 300$ or i shouldnt be cheap when it comes to mobo? Thanks for the help!Taijiquan
Truthfully, you did a great value upgrade. You probably had a single core 64 AMD and wanted to grab a Dual Core but wanted to recycle your AGP card and ram? Plus you got that PSU for free? I wouldn't OC this board and would wait until you get a performance board. On your Asrock, the wall is 300 fsb right? For $350 you could get a great board and 2 gigs of ram. Problem is you need to wait a bit so you have a GPU and since you are waiting on the G80s that is going to be another month. I would wait for until march. btw, you can get the 500w Ultra for free now after rebate.
You are right i had a Compaq Amd +3000 or something like that (i still have just need ram and hdd is gonna be my workhorse) i got the case psu mobo and processor all togheter for $370 but now i know the mobo isnt enough for what i want (this is my first time building i dont really know what is good) i knew i needed to upgrade my ram, so where did you find the ultra 500w for free? And the other shoppers experts out there dont be shy post you opnions and links if you want to help me :) upgrade. Thanks guys much apreciated!
