@VeeArSick @andmcq If there's a gap already, it'll only get larger. Even by 2018, which everyone running 1600+ on tablets/PCs it's going to look pretty poor for these consoles.
@DukeMagnum @andmcq It's still going to be a lot easier to develop for than the 7th gen Ps3 was. Two years max. What's to learn? Some unified memory and integrated Intel HD 4000.
@VeeArSick @arqe It's a gigantic gap if you compare a high end PC to a 7th gen console. Considering that BF4 will not be running 1080p @60fps, a 2013 release, the gap between these 8th gen consoles will be too large by 2020.
Don't think so. This is pretty much standard x86. Two gens at most and the optimisation is done. It's not like Ps3, which developers were extremely unfamiliar with.
Just make a real next generation remake of RE1 and 2 complete with the original game play mechanics, music and voice acting! You're sitting on a gold mine Capcom, you must know this?
