I had a similar thing happen with a sapphire 6970. Was playing fear 3, then after quitting back to desktop the screen was 'peppered' with artifacts. They later dissapeared but returned the next day. Strangely they only seemed appear when the card idled and would come and go randomly. RMA'd the thing to be safe, just had to pay for shipping. So my advise would be to do the same.

No because a 1080p monitor is only 1080 pixels high. Anyway, I'm yet to come across a game that won't run a 1080p.
I bought a gigabyte 5450 OC while my 6970 was RMA'd. Just for fun I tried a few titles like F.E.A.R 3, crysis........I don't mind slideshows........but not when they're in games. Glad it's in the cupboard in the box:)
So i have my computer on pretty much 24/7. It is kinda noisy and it is close to me on a desk on ear level.

Putting the hydro series pumps together can be a pain, but it's well worth it in the enddeadruler08
Little tip for selling on ebay, pictures of the actual item and some positive feedback before selling a high value items goes a long way.
Not to hijack the thread, but I'm wondering about something similar. Wondering if I can use my old 40GB drive with XP still on it as a secondary drive for my Win7 build without it causing any boot problems... I'll delete it once I can, but just wondering if it will cause any software conflict?

That will also work perfectly fine, no conflict. Just need to change which HDD the computer boots from in the bios. Set it to boot from your new HDD with windows 7.
Okay, so I'm about to build a new computer for a friend and he wants to keep the hard drive from his old drive since he doesn't want to reinstall everything. Is it possible for me to install windows 7 on the new hard drive and just use his old hard drive as extra storage? or will I need to remove windows 7 from his old hard drive?

That'll work fine, it's what I do when I get new HDDs. I might add, you don't need to remove windows 7 from the old HDD. But it will take up a small partition and a little space.
I have an idea; stop, now.C_Rule
aww, don't give up his hopes and dreams. I am making a rocketship, it's for flying into space. It needs to have really high power and really high speed :)
Should be a great motherboard, it's ready for bulldozer and Gigabyte is a reputable manufacturer. Should suit most needs, unless you're planning on some heavy overclocking or a high end SLI/X-fire setup.
