I duuno I haven't watched Arakawa under the bridge. Is it good?

alfredooo
Well, I personally like it, because it is funny, most times it has breaking story development that I found interesting. There are two seasons. Try one or two ep to see whether it is for you or not. Some of its references to the current Japanese social issues and culture might be a bit hard to catch up.

Is anyone watching Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? Its probably one of the funnest shows currently airing.

Its about this high school student who is secretely a zombie and later becomes a magical girl (yes, a mahou shoujo, even though he is a dude) that fights monsters with a giant magic chainsaw. Anyways, after that this totally hardcore Ninja Vampire shows up and they fight each other at the cementery.

And thats only ep 2.

I have them on stock, but have no time to watch. How is it comparing to Arakawa under the Bridge?

Yes, I watched it several times. The first time I was lost and did not really get the story. It is the first Miyazaki film I saw, after that I watched all of his and Ghibli movies.

Just saw Fractale, it reminded me of Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind when Phyrne arrived.Miroku32
Yeah, it reminds that too. and the Castle in the Sky to some extent.

[QUOTE="aneres518"]@Miroku32 @Sphire I have just watched Factale. How to put it? Reminds me of Miyazaki Hayao's works. Miroku32
Really? Good to know. I just recently saw the new Fairy Tail Opening and I found it funny. Not good as the last one though.

I do not want to mislead, it's not exactly Ghibli style, only some scenes and anime technique kind of familiar. Maybe you will not have the same feeling as me.

It's a pity, most times, I just skip the openings, unless it's outstanding. Some of the D.Gray Man's are impressive. Early Bleach OPs too. There is one anime I remember its Ed, the Saga. Kiba's OP and Ed also draws my attention.

I watched Shiki and Legend of the legendary heroes

Shiki is a good one to watch if you want to watch a vampire movie that dont follow the most obvious storylines. Legendary of the legendary heroes desperately needs a sequel...

Legend will have a sequal for sure. Otherwise they would not end it like that. Shiki is good. Even though I'm a bit confused by the end. It challenges normal moral standards.

I thought I was the only one who watched Shiki, it had a pretty slow start so I think a lot of people dropped it after a few eps.

The ending was slightly confusing so they are releasing 1-2 more eps with the DVDs.... I think 20.5 and/or 21.5.

And you are right about it challenging moral standards, I think it would have been a pretty averga show if it had only shown one side side of the human vs vampire conflict.

Good point. Agree.
