Just curious how many people rent games and how many just straight up buy them. Also if you rent, do you eventually buy the game if you liked it?

I'm sick of MW2 haters like you. You can't judge a game just by screenshots and videos. You have to actually play it. MW2!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would say COD4 like everyone else but to be honest the strong point in that game is the multiplayer, although I really liked the campaign. Halo 3: ODST had a fun campaign although it was a little short. Also, I've heard great things about Borderlands so you might want to check that out.
I agree that Assassin's Creed was an amazing game that I loved playing and I am really excited to get my hands on the second one, but not for the sake of argument or anything, I'm still more excited for MW2. That game is going to be sick.
Picking up MW2 the day it comes out. Also gonna pick up Assassins Creed 2, but probably that weekend and not the day of the release.
In regards to the NBA Live Academy Challeng achievements, do you have to pick players that are on your main team? I've kept track of the ones that I've completed and I'm positive that I should have at least one of the achievements unlocked but it's not. I used different players around the NBA though.
I'm not really the type of person that needs to be surprised by a game's story in order to enjoy it more. Personally, I've been checking out all that I can about MW2. I'm so psyched for this game it's not even funny.
I hate Juggernaut. I admit that I have used it a few times but I normally choose stopping power instead. I understand what you're saying about the balancing of the two perks, but there's nothing more annoying than shooting someone and having that stupid little health sign come up and taunt you for not being able to kill them in the same amount of time it takes to kill people without the perk. That and killing someone and then running over their lifeless body to find that a live grenade has dropped and they just got a free kill.
I may not be very reliable because I haven't really played any racing games recently, but I would reccommend Forza 3. I played the demo for that and it was sick. I'm not sure if it has split screen though. Also, I remember playing the Burnout series with friends on split screen and it was pretty fun so you might want to look into that too.
