So I'm all set with a HDTV for Christmas so I'm gonna buy a PS3 soon. I was thinking of getting the 20gb model and replacing the drive with a 120gb or 160gb notebook sata. I had considered a 360 instead but the defects in 360 are just too much for me and I hate mailing things out and having to wait for them to come back. Also just like the original Xbox the lineup is seriously lacking in the platformer and rpg department. Hopefully I'll get be able to find a 20gb model early in January.

Well I as I said in my last post I was going to see how my family was able to play Wii. I was amazed at how much fun everyone had. I had expected Tennis to be most popular but I was wrong. They spent hours playing bowling. I've never seen my grandmother have so much fun (or play a video game for that matter) and I plan on bringing it by a few more times for her to play. I just got back and haven't even unpacked the Wii yet. I ended staying longer than originally intended.

Every Thanksgiving most of my family goes to my grandmothers house for the day. I think this would be a great time to test Wii's pick up and play effect with most of my family. I'm gonna let them play Wii Sports and see what they think.

Just got back from EB to pick up my preorder of Red Steel and to pick up FF III. While I was in that area I decided to run over to Radio Shack and pick up a battery charger. They had 30 minute, 2 hour, and 3 hour chargers. I bought the 30 minute charger.

I got rid of my cube quite some time ago but since I'm getting a Wii I decided to hunt down the only GC game that I really enjoyed differently overall compared to all the others. P.N 03 is a dancing/shooting game that I never got tired of playing. It was one of my favorite GC games. I'm looking on ebay right now and prices are very low (under $10 w/shipping) so I'm happy.

I also think the game is a perfect example for why I don't play games based on their reviews. P.N 03 didn't really good reviews across different sites (5 on both IGN and GS) but still remains my favorite GC game.

I know in the last post I said I was gonna get carbon and dbz but I'm thinking since my birthday is at the end of november and christmas soon after I really don't need to buy either myself. So most likely the first week of November I'm heading down to EB for the following:

Castlevania: PoR preorder
Magical Starsign
Children of Mana
Phantasy Star Universe (pc version)

So with that stuff and the stuff I previously preordered I should be set for quite some time.

At launch I decided to also buy Need for Speed Carbon and DBZ Tenkaichi 2. I was gonna go for CoD3 or Elebits but I really don't feel like playing another CoD game and Elebits isn't out until December 12th.

I haven't seen the movie in a while (maybe 4 or 5 years) so today I grabbed it. It still remains one my favorite movies. Right now I'm looking for one of the moves with Molly Shannon called Superstar which was another of my favorites.

This time it's for GBA. It's called Rhythm Tengoku. It's a very fun and addicting music game. I first heard about from gonintendo.com when one of their user created weekend banners was themed around it. I finally got around to trying it today and I absolutely love it. It's really a shame the US doesn't see that many games like it.
