That is exactly my point. It has so much more potential than just using it as a lightgun, but this is what Nintendo is using to hype the Wii up with. Give me games that really show off the Wiimote and what it can do. I don'texpect 20 year old ideas from a company that gave us the first analog stick or rumble and try to pass them off as new and inventive.

i think those 20 year old ideas are fun. Who wouldent want to aim a gun at the screen and shoot down enmy soilders. Its called once again interaction with modern games. i thought duck hunt was fun with the light gun, Call of duty is going to rock

How can anyone defend this point? Nintendo trotts out on stage and presents lightgun games for the Wii and games that use the Wiimote as a steering wheel and people are okay with it????

Don't get me wrong, Nintendo are not the only ones that do this, but to come to E3 and present it in your keynote as if it is something to get excited about is truly pathetic. Lets also not forget their new action pad where you run in place and do stretches.
