[QUOTE="angelyoel"]Please watch my video and let me know what u guys think, if i need to rma my video card or what!gravitygamerit is surely a driver issue..happened to me with my 6850.If you can do a clean install of windows and then your drivers. I dont want to re-install windows again. I already did what one of ur guys recommended and it didnt work. So i guess ima have to do it. But the weird thing is that i didnt install any drivers or anything. One day i wanted to play and it was lagging out of the blue.
[QUOTE="caseystryker"]I did all that bro and nothing i can still notice some lag every 3 seconds. I tried removing the ram and try them each seperate and they work just fine. any other solution? Thanks for ur help though I already fixed the problem with the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 and i am on the latest amd catalyst drivers so i dont know whats going on. Could it be the video card itself that is bad? Cuz it only happens when am gaming, if am watching movies on hd nothing happens.I remember reading somewhere not to use driver sweeper in conjunction with AMD GPUS's and motherboard chipsets. Not sure why, or if it's true though. Anyways I had a similar problem. Here is how I fixed it.
1) Be sure you have the latest version of the CCC driver package downloaded to your desktop.
2) Download the latest version of AMD Catalyst TwL CLeaner.
3) Perform a full uninstall of CCC.
4) Boot into safe mode. Go to your device manager and uninstall all display adaptors from there.
5) Minimize the device manager screen and run AMD Catalyst TwL cleaner. Follow the instructions and proceed to delete the registry keys it instructs you to.
6) Open up the minimized device manager screen and scan for hardware changes. This is vital, if you don't you can't boot normally into Windows.
7) Restart you computer and run the CCC driver package for a squeaky clean driver reinstall.
This fixed all of my issues.
EDIT: Here is the reason not to use driver sweeper.
If you're using Driver Sweeper to clean up drivers on Windows 7, be aware that Driver Sweeper may prevent you from installing service packs. Driver Sweeper wipes Windows 7's built-in display drivers, which are considered as "system files". Service pack 1 and upcoming service packs run integrity check on system files, and if it detects any missing filesit won't let you install and display the following error message: "Service Pack Installation Cannot Continue (one or more system components that service pack requires are missing)". If you're already a victim of this issue, please consult x:WindowsLogsCBSCBS.log to determine which files you need to restore in-order to install Service Pack 1 check out the update below.
We recommend that you avoid automatic driver cleaners. If you would like to clean up driver data, we suggest that you do it manually from the registry editor. There is no need to delete files. But in fact, we also have a recommendation for vendors: Please provide proper uninstallers with your drivers, so there won't be any need for driver cleaners.
Update: We received a reply from the author of Driver Sweeper: "Since version 2.6.0, I think I added some entries from the DriverStore because ATi stores some settings files there. However, a few days ago I heard from some people not being able to install SP1 after running Driver Sweeper. I investigated the problem and found out that the installer checks for missing content from several directories. This is also the reason I released version 2.8.5 as quickly as possible. The entries required for SP1 are removed from the database so they will not be cleaned anymore. Read more: http://www.ngohq.com/news/19259-beware-of-driver-sweeper-on-windows-7-a.html#ixzz1XicPR08A
