i've been looking at prices and it's not possible. pluse, you'll have to add shipping with ordering those.

you are so full of it. I could see $800 at the minimum. but no way you can build a gaming machine for that money. It can't be done when you have to spend almost a hundred on the os alone and then you have to drop 50 for the controller. that leaves you 350 for the tower MB, CPU, ram, HD, monitor, sound card, graphics card, cooling, speakers, and whatever else I'm missing.

Nope, not from scratch. I'll give you it could be done if you were just upgrading, but not from the ground up.

And even if you could, it wouldn't be a good machine capable of playing the high-end games. You wold be spending to upgrade in a short time.
