Can anyone please name some co-op story mode games like Resistance?

story mode with splitscreen so I can play with my pals...

eh... I was about to buy UT3 and I asked if I can try it before I buy it... but the dude wont let me.

I rather buy COD4... but I'm not sure if thats a good decision... help anyone?
