I guess I was just lucky. I played through this game when it first came out and had no problems with all the trophies.

Maybe patches screwed up trophies somehow? Not saying I don't believe you, because Treyarch's previous World at War also had all kinds of trophies that were glitchy. Basically the same thing you describe. Beat a mission, don't get trophy, beat it again, somehow trophy pops the 2nd or 3rd time around.

simple Red Dead Redemption or FF13 Collectors Edition. RDR is $44 AUD and FF13:CE is $40. I value good stroy and fun gameplay, like challenges but not ridiculus ones.
