edit: i get that ppl make up stupid crap about rrod ylod drive issues etc just for attention and that since im new im probably not taken too serious here but being called a flat out liar by the mods really burnt my bacon.im 37 i dont need to make up stories for attention, and i joined here to try meet other gamers in my demographic since 30 somethings with 2 kids and in business management dont really fall into the "gamer" world too often ,aka -ppl i know in real life dont game

@coasterguy65: its a weird screwed up issue and if thats the reason its locked then im fine with that, but saying im making it up just goes to show the level of maturity the moderators in this place have. i just want the account i paid for to work properly so i dont have to buy another one because basically as it stands right now my gold account is useless. the support staff for office365 said they are removing the pending charges so my xbl should work now, ill know if it does when im done work and can go home and test it

i would love to show pictures of my phone conversations ive had with xbox support and office support all morning trying to clear this up. i signed up for xblgold with a code on the weekend , tried to buy spartan assault with my credit card xmas eve and i got the error saying they encountered a problem please try again. i knew my card was good so i called xbox support and they said my account was deactivated until i pay for ms office. so now as i type this im on the phone getting this problem with office fixed. they are supposed to be waiving the fee for msoffice, which is supposed to make my xbl account work again, so i guess ill see when i get home if its been fixed. not every reported problem is trolling, but i guess the reaction the last thread i made about this is exactly why people are fleeing gamespot, like its Auschwitz, for Neogaf. the moderating here is some kind of terrible, only trolls and ps4 sucks xboxsucks type topics are cool at gamespot

yuup they do i bought live gold and set up my acct and in order to use any features at all i have to pay for office from the time i purchased my laptop back in july. really disgusted with how greedy they are , im selling this pos and never looking back again!
