So I beat GTA IV today. Epic.

Will GameSpot's reputation be tarnished forever as they chose to fire Jeff for his review of Kayne & Lynch just because Eidos put so much money into an advertising campaign on GameSpot? Will I be leaving GameSpot? Check it out. No wonder he wasn't on the HotSpot this week or On The Spot. The best reviewer and personality of GameSpot is gone.

Did anyone catch the Melbourne Tigers vs. The South Dragons in the NBL tonight? It was a great game at The Cage that went straight down to the wire between two Melbourne teams. Great match with the lead swinging the whole night, but the Tigers came out with the win. Also trade week in the AFL is over, and Bulldogs lost Sam Power and McMahon. It's really sad to see McMahon leave like that, show's he is just greedy for more money like Nathan Brown was. We also had some good pick ups in Hudson and Callan. Now that the draft is coming up I just hope the Bulldogs can get a big key position forward for pick 5.

In gaming news, I finished Resistance today. It was a blast from start to finish. I enjoyed it a lot more than Halo 3. I don't know why but it's just my personal opinion. I'm getting into the multiplayer and trying to get my rank up. With full clan support I think i'll be playing Resistance online for quite some time. I also played the Ratchet & Clank Tools of Destruction demo today and was very impressed, another great game from Insomniac is on its way! I'm also looking to buy The Orange Box for the 360 from Play-Asia at a dirt cheap price of $55. In the meantime i'll continue playing Resistance, Halo 3, Warhawk and MotorStorm.

Hey guys, I got my 360 today! Overall Microsoft provided a pretty damn good turn around. It worked out to 6 working days for the postage, repair and delivery back to me which I thought was pretty damn good. Now that I have my 360 back I have ordered BioShock. I'm getting the special edition as I couldn't pass on all that extra shwag. I haven't played the demo and probably wont even bother downloading it now since the game is out on Friday. Anyway, cya and have a great week GameSpotters!

My 360 has been posted to Microsoft for repairs. I also paid for insurance so i'm covered if it gets lost or damaged in transit. I hope I get it back soon in time for BioShock In other news I now own a PS3 which is really cool. The starter pack seems a pretty good deal as you get an extra controller, Resistance and MotorStorm. Cya people!

I got up this morning to download the Stranglehold demo. I turned on my 360, only to have the three rings of death flashing. So now i'm really frustrated and have to go through the whole process of calling customer support to send it in! I'm only glad i'll have it back in time for BioShock. It probably wont even be my console, i'm guessing it will just be a refurbished one. It seems like it's inevatable that all 360's will eventually die. Well at least I still have my Wii and PS2 going strong. I'll probably play some Twilight Princess and Vice City Stories. I'm really wanting a PS3 now with their lineup of games so who knows, I might pick one up this weekend. Anyway, cya GameSpotters!

What happened on Sunday doggies!!! Sitting at the MCG was devastating after an exciting shootout ended in the fashion it did, this was a must win against Carlton. We are still struggling to get into the eight and it seems we have lost that spark we had last year and are being beaten at our own running game with the inconsistencies of the team. Things will change on Saturday night against Brisbane. The doggies will overcome this problem and get back to their best footy. I can assure you they are still Victoria's only hope for bringing a premiership to our state!

In gaming matters I've recently just completed Kameo which was cool. Now i'm shifting my focus to Viva Pinata. I've owned the game for a long time just never had the time to start playing it. Well my garden is now at level 13, It hasn't been too difficult yet but I heard it can become very challenging. I've also been playing a lot of RB6: Vegas which is awesome. My online rank is sergeant, and I'm slowly working my way towards getting some more achievements. I've always been occasionally been playing some Gears trying to get the seriously achievement which requires you to kill 10,000 people in ranked matches. I think I'm only at 1.5k at the moment, but hopefully that will change soon when I get some more game time in! Other than the 360 I haven't really touched any platforms in a while, but hope to do so in the upcoming weeks by finishing Bully and Vice City Stories for the PlayStation 2.
