Hey, I just completed Gears of War on Insane difficulty. I played through the first time on casual difficulty but decided to go straight to insane as you still get the points for hardcore anyway. It got pretty tough at times but the co-op really does help. Well getting a lot of achievement points in Gears has pushed me up to 1105 points. Yes its still very low, but I haven't had much itme lately to play so many games. I'm still looking forward to keep playing Gears of War online and try to get any other achievements I can get.



I've been playing a little bit of Rockstar's Table Tennis lately on the pro circuit but what the hell, I can't beat Jung Soo... Maybe I should give it more practice, or maybe I'm just bad at Table Tennis. Anyway, i'm pretty lost at the moment, I have way too many games to play... I still haven't even clocked Bully!

So in my last blog post you would have seen that I pre-ordered the Wii and today is Friday the 8th meaning the Wii launched yesterday. I was too busy to go to the midnight launch and was busy during the day so I went around 8pm to Toys R Us and picked it up. I paid AU$529 and got the Wii Console, Zelda, WiiPlay + a extra Wii-mote, some stupid Wii carry bag and coupons for Wii games, dvds and other discounts on products at Toys R Us values at $400. I already used one of my coupons to buy a second Nunchuck so I got it for $20 instead of $30. All up I thought it was a pretty good deal. There seemed to be plenty of Wii's to go around and a lot left over, doesn't seem it was as popular as the US launch! I'm pretty happy about that because I didn't have to fight for my Wii :D

The thing I like about this generation of consoles is that you can't make comparisons between the 360, PS3 and Wii. They all have their pros and cons and have different strengths where they excel in which is the reason why I now own a 360 and Wii and will be buying a PS3 at launch. The next game i'll most likely buy for the Wii will probably be Wario Ware Smooth Moves if it's released in January. I'm out, Cheers.

I am now officially an owner of a Nintendo Wii, as of December 7th. I preordered my console at my local Toys R Us and I was able to choose a free game for the console out of NFS: Carbon or Open Season... I chose NFS but I'm probably going to sell it and use that money to buy something better. I know i'm certainly going to be buying Zelda. I'm pretty sure that there will be a midnight launch at this store but I think i'll just get it in the day.

I also recently just bought Gears of War and have finished the game on the Casual difficulty. I'm now going to go back and do the game again on Hardcore and then on Insane to get all the achievement points. I'm currently on 350 points, hopefully now that i'm on holidays i'll be able to play a lot more. I also bought Kameo as well so that's another game I have to play on my 360. Viva Pinata and Call of Duty 3 look awesome so I wanna pick those games up soon. On the PS2 i'm playing Canis Canem Edit (Bully) and i'm only about 20% complete. This game is AWESOME I can't believe I haven't found the time to play it so i'm really keen to finish it real soon.

I just purchased Rockstar's Table Tennis, and Saints Row off Ebay the other day, so hopefully they come within a couple of business days!! I haven't even played Dead Rising or even setup my 360 yet! Hopefully I can get it all up and running this weekend as I've been fairly busy. Anyway Dead Rising, Saints Row, and Table Tennis all look like pretty damn cool games. I'm not sure what else to get in the future, maybe Oblivion? Or Rainbow Six Vegas and Gears of War?? What do you guys think should be my next 360 purchase?

Anyway, with my new system I think that I might not be able to get a Wii now since I want my PS3 in March and it will cost $1000 AU so I can just put the money I have been saving for the Wii to my PS3. I'm really thinking I can pass on the Wii, there aren't many games i'd really want besides Red Steel... I never thought i'd buy a 360, but theres a fair few games on the system that I think i'll really enjoy! I have always been a Sony man but the 360 looks like some great fun over the holiday season :D

Today I bought my first 360 game, Dead Rising. I can't play it yet because I don't have the 360 yet! I'm pretty sure it will come tomorrow, if not Tuesday! Damnit! I just keep looking at the box and disc waiting to play hahaha! I'm hoping to buy Saints Row next... And a few other games, but I'm a bit low on cash because I gotta pick up Bully as well on Friday! :) That looks like such an awesome game, as usual from Rockstar once again!

Here's the deal, I finally bought an XBOX 360 over eBay! I got it at $570 AU when they usually retail at $649. This is a premium version of the 360 brand new factory sealed with full waranty! I don't have it yet but I expect to get it within 1-6 business days! I've never owned an Xbox before I have always been a Sony and Nintendo man. I'm still going to get the Wii in December and the PS3 in March.

Fellow gamers, what kind of games would you truly recommend me purchasing for my new XBOX 360?! I surley want Rockstar's Table Tennis... But what about other games like Dead Rising, and Saints Row?!?

Lately i've been thinking of just getting a 360 instead of a PS3. I mean it's been delayed here in Australia until March of next year with a price tag of AU $1000. I have saved enough money to purchase it but i'm not sure if all is well for Sony. It seems as though they are having some major problems, and i'm not prepared to pay big dollars for a machine. So i've been thinking of buying a 360. I mean hell i'd like to play Dead Rising, Saints Row, Prey and many other titles, and of course GTA IV will be on the 360. I'm going to be getting a Wii on the Australian launch date of December 7, but i'm still uncertain on the PS3... Should I wait to see how everything pans out, or just go and buy a 360 right now?!
