@surferosh It says he joined as A creative director on A project, so that sounds to me like creative director of a single game and not some kind of head person in Microsoft Studios.
And there are many people saying he should be fired for his free speech about rumors about the next console. My point was they should consider how they'd feel if their company tried to fire them for a comment they posted on facebook or twitter that wasn't even defamatory about the company.
But yeah you'd think he'd be in the know and be more careful. Maybe they're testing the waters to see if people really won't buy it if it requires always-on internet.
For all we know this is all a PR stunt (along with the other leaks) to lower expectations so when they do finally announce and the system isn't always-on and allows used games, everyone will be like "OMG THX MS WE <3 YOU!"
P.S. This guy has no power at MS; stop asking for him to be fired. Also: would you want to be fired from your job for posting your opinion about a hypothetical console online? .. I didn't think so.
@charlieholmes He's just a 'creative' guy working on a single video game. He's not part of MS's Xbox team or anything like that. So he has no power and no one should care what he says.
@dlCHIEF58 @ElJefeDeMedios Translation: "No it's not P2W at all! ... Well it'll be limited within reason.... Well after you play for a while then it's P2W."
A 1v1 competitive game with an uneven playing field? What an ingenious idea! It's almost like they heard my frequent cries of "this fighting game is too fair!!"
@Smokescreened84 @deadruler08 It's really hard for me to imagine gamer nerds at a convention bullying gays! Is this an actual problem or are you making it up?
I HAVE A DREAM... that one day every game will start out with the questions "What is your sex?" and "Which sex are you attracted to?" and the game will tailor itself accordingly... while children everywhere ask their parents what those questions mean.
