today, my friend came out and he asked about how the guitsr hero explorer is going, but i didnt have it on this new computer so i got it back, we watched a youtube video on a tutorial on how to use it and how to put custom songs on it and i hjad to get limewire back and download 2 copies of the same song, a chart file and a mp3 file one you get from scorehero.com and one you have to get from limewire well, we got a song chosen, it was "wake me up when september ends" by green day. We got it but first there were not the correct notes but it was the correct song, so thats when we had to download the chart file then we got the right notes but something else was wrong, the guitar sound was ahead of when the first note started so my friend said that we match the 2nd guitar riff with the 1st note. But there was a problem we had to match tghe 1st riff not the 2nd. So, we had to keep re-downloading it until the 1st riff was perfect with the 1st note. After about 15 redownloads we finally got it timed just right, the music was about 650 milliseconds (6 1/2 seconds) ahead, and now i have to get the rest of the programs to get this done, i also need a dvd +/-r disc and apache 2 then extract, and write and other stuff like that then i can play it on guitar hero 2, this is a REALLY long process, i am only half way there, it took my friend and i about 2 and a half hours to get where i am at now.

i have had this policy for a little while, its about my reviews my little policy of my reviews, i will NEVER give a game a 4.0 or below because you have to at least give credit for the company for trying to create the game, unless it really deserves below a 4.0, if i find one little teensy thing wrong with a game its not going to be getting a 10 because to me a 'perfect' game to me means that there is nothing wrong with a game. I have only gave 1 10/10 out of my 53 reviews and that was super mario all stars for the super nintendo, the lowest review i gave was mario is missing for the super nintendo which scored a 5.4, because of its crappy repetitive gameplay. Games that get in the 5 to 6 range, i dont really recommend them but thats me games that get into the 7 range are good but not great, better for renting, games that get in the 8 range are games that i enjoy and i reccomend them, the games that are in the 9 range are some of the best games i have, i really enjoy them, good replay value, this section is wherevery few games get into. these are the games i highly reccomend and like i said, some of the best games to me. Like i said, only 1 game got perfect that was super mario all stars. so thats just a summary of how my review policy goes

it was a good day i might start to like this year, rthe teachers weree nice and i have alot of classes with my friends, my schedule got changed though i dont really feel like putting that on here im too tired. the first day, it was all about the rules and s**t like that, but my history class, it is crazy, you got the freaking guitarist just being his screwed up self you got kids yelling in the room, then last period i have industrial tech which is all about construction and stuff like that, there are only like 12 kids in that class, but i do have some classes with 10th graders (oh great) i got geometry, environmental science, spanish, and industrial tech with at least 1 10th grader. but it was good but not great it'll pick up the pace once we get going.

this is my last few hours of freedom until i go to bed then i wake up hearing my nintendo ds alarm going off then its time to go to school, but before i tell go on about that let me tell about all this summer vacation:

pros: got drum set, spent alot of time with my friends, got quite a few more games, started being ALOT more active on gamespot, got brand new computer, started band practices, got my own account on youtube and posted vids, started wifi battling

cons: i didnt get a 360 for my birthday, it got so boring being on this computer all day, i didnt get in the pool as much as i would have liked, didn't take as much walks as i hopped, didnt have as manty band practices as i would have liked.

So its kinda even between pros and cons, let me go into more depth, i got my drumset which made my summer shoot way up in fun wise and the better thing is, i got it near the beginning summer so i had a lot of time to practice before i had to start worrying about school. With band practices, i got to spend a lot of time with some of my best friends and that is what makes summer vacations good. About the 360 i didnt get one after a long time of me wanting one and it was my birthday so that is what made it a lot worse for my summer and i was really looking forward to having one but oh well. Overall, this summer was good but not great, it got boring, i did the same things everyday, and so on, but yet i waited 2 yrs till i got a drum set so the final score of 2007 summer vacation is a 7 out of 10 compared to other summers:

so there it is my summer, it wasnt all that bad but im going to miss summer vacation but hopefully 9th grade will fly by.

i didnt really make a blog post about it but i was working on a youtube video last night and now it is finished, it is all about my top 5 x-box games, the thing that is different about this one is the text is different and if you look at the gameplay footage, it doesn't lag because i am on windows vista and its brand new so it doesn't lag and i rushed a little bit towards the end so you might have to go back and re-read the rest if you want to find out what other games i have played that didn't make it on there.

today is my last day of summer vacation, later on this evening i will post another blog post on my whole thoughts on this summer vacation

i got to thinking a little while ago and i have been thinking of my top 5 favorite pokemon typess ever so here they are:

i have really liked psychic pokemon for a long time now and i think they are really strong pokemon, a little history on how i really have come to like psychic pokemon. Back in the red/blue/yellow era of pokemon, i caught an abra and i started to battle with it and i started and i was thinking 'wow, this pokemon is really strong' so i kept battling with it and i got to figuring out that almost every psychic attack that i used it never said 'not very effective' on any pokemon so i was thinking 'this is the perfect type of pokemon for me' but now since the pokemon company and nintendo added dark and steel type, psychic types have had hardly no effect on those types, i think i know why nintendo did that/. Because i think they were finally getting onto the idea that psychic pokemon were some of the strongest pokemon in the r/b/y era. So thats why i think that psychic pokemon have little/no effect on steel and dark pokemon. Another reason why i really like psychic pokemon is that most legendary pokemon are psychic type and they were very strong. it is even proven that out of all the non-legendary pokemon, alakazam has the highest special attack out of all the non-legendary pokemon. i am going to keep liking psychic pokemon for a long time.

just too let everyone know, i got my wifi back up and runing, i was kind of afraid it wasn't going to run on windows vista because i have heard that some programs dont run on vista, i hope it keeps working well, so now people can ask me for wifi battle on pokemon pearl/diamond, or maybe a match on mario strikers charged. yesterday my mom went to wal mart and she looked at their computers and she said they we a lot, then today, me and her went to rent 2 own (good thing that we have rent 2 own where i live) we found this computer not used, for ummmmm, i dont remember how much, but this is brand new, its a 2006 compaq running windows vista, and an lcd screen with built in speakers on the monitor, now i hope everything doesnt lag like they used ot on my old computer. But the bad thing is, this really kills my chances of getting a x-box 360 for christmas but the only way i can get one is if it was used.

some schools near where i live has gotten cancelled because it has been so hot where i live like today it is supposed to get up to 97 degrees with a heat index of 102 degrees and thats not all, with the added in humuidity with no rain in the forecast, its gonna feel like between 109 and 113 degrees that is ridiculous where i live and i live in ohio and no wonder why schools have cancelled.
