It all depends on how the controls are. The videos I've seen look great and the circle menu seems like it will work but it's just rare that an RTS ends up playing well on a console. But I hope they're able to pull it off with this game.

It's a puzzle game first, it's a platformer second and I think that confuses a lot of people. I've only played a few levels but after the first world it becomes obvious the gameplay is similar to mario in a lot of ways but so are most sidescrolling platformers. I don't remember having to solve puzzles through time control but maybe I'm wrong.

The easiest thing to do is call MS support and get the problem fixed. But if making a 20 minute phone call isn't worth your 15 bucks than stop worrying about it.

I've kept my box on it's side since I bought it one year ago and I haven't had any problem with it due to overheating. I'd be to nervous of the thing falling over, it's not very stable and the side of the console (if it's sitting horizontal) has more vents on it than the bottom so why wouldn't those affect the temperature of the console?

My dvd drive went out a little more than a month ago and they replaced it under the one year warranty so it wasn't a big deal. Everything has been working fine since I got it back a few weeks ago.

I can't get any game to play right off the bat so I'm sure it's about to lay down on me. I'll call for my box tommorrow. If I can get a few more hours of Fallout 3 in tonight I'll be happy.

I've tried 2 other games and all the games were clean. I'll be happy if it lasts long enough for the box to come from microsoft.

I bought my xbox a little less than a year ago and I haven't had any problems out of it. Last week I turned it on and I had an open tray option instead of the name of the game I have in the drive. I just opened and closed it and that solved the problem until yesterday afternoon. I had to open and close the tray about 4 times before it would run. Once the game starts playing I don't have any problem. It still loads fast and has never frozen up on me.

I figure I'm going to have to send it in and hopefully it'll be under warranty. But just in case has anyone ever had this problem and been able to resolve it without sending it in?
