So let's get one thing very clear for any other idiots or just misguided people who don't know what's going on. Nintendo games have been undershipped at retail lately. This is evident, this was a problem with Pokemon, Fire Emblem, Luigi's Mansion, Lego City, all of them. However, remember, it is not up to Nintendo to decide how many copies make it to retailers. Retailers order copies of games from Nintendo. Nintendo just meets their demand. If you aren't finding enough Nintendo games at retail, it is because retailers did not expect that much demand for Nintendo games, and did not offer enough copies, leading to sell outs. Now even if they want to order additional copies from Nintendo, it would take time for Nintendo to prepare new shipments, they can't just have their production channels and procedures at the retailers' beck and call. Therefore, shortage of Nintendo games at retail is not Nintendo's fault, it is retailers who are not ordering enough copies. Good eShop sales are just a side effect. Anyone who has studied even rudimentary market economics and dynamics would know how this works. Of course, I never expected TC to know this, but this is for the information of anyone else who might not know much about these matters.charizard1605

You are assuming that nintendo can fulfill the retailers' oders. There could be legitimate reason why they can't fulfull retailer orders or they might not have a legitmate reason at all. Of course what you said could be true instead. We won't know the truth unless someone from ninty says it like it is. 

Here in the UK Game just made an exclusive deal with Nintendo to sell vouchers for games sold on the e- shop. The vouchers are sold for less than the official e shop price. Retailers adapt. Its business. 

I do prefer physial copies which is why I'm going to buy games day 1 for my 3DS

Yeah me too. Really want a new Metroid Prime style game on the 3DS or the Wii U. We got E3 soon though :D
