Gran Turismo is quickly becoming the racing game to watch for 2007 and 2008. With a target number of 900 cars, Yamauchi and company are taking the kitchen sink approach of throwing everything in possible. GT Channel isn't a huge fan of this method and prefer the best of the best in its racing games.
The latest news GT Channel scooped out of Japanese sources involves a nearly complete list of vehicles from the upcoming Gran Turismo Prologue Demo as well as a very special car that will be in the complete game.
Heres the video proof of why uncharted is the best looking game to date

On Thurs., Circuitcity.com held an out of stock status for the 60GB PS3. The product debuted in Nov. 2006 as the more popular PS3 SKU next to the 20GB version at launch.
A quick check of stores in Southern California revealed no stock at several in-store locations.
Soldier of Fortune: Pay Back lets you travel the world as a hired mercenary, the goal to sneak into terrorist camps and slaughter people in terrible ways. Much like its predecessors, the game's enemies feature multiple points of dissection, and you'll smirk with homicidal glee as you blow off heads and limbs. With that said, the bland story mode, despite whisking you away to numerous locations, features lame brain artificial intelligence, a boring narrative, corny characters and the same point A to point B objectives, making it worth just a few hours of play. Multiplayer adds value, with the ability to play various modes, such as death match and capture the flag, but there's no reason why you should play this instead of its closest rival, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

Eurogamer has made an interview with Epic Games Vice President Mark Rein.
Eurogamer: Alright. Let's talk about the game for a bit. (Noise of clunking levers, screeching tracks, screaming passengers.) Previously Epic always seemed eager to cram loads of new, experimental ideas into the UT games, while UT3 seems a lot narrower in scope. Why?
Mark Rein: We wanted to simplify the game a little bit and concentrate on the really popular modes. Obviously Onslaught was the most popular mode in Unreal Tournament 2004 so we wanted to make sure we improved that quite a bit with this new Warfare gametype, and that meant not having as many crazy gametypes as we had before. And hey, the mod guys are gonna fill in any holes, trust me. They're gonna do amazing stuff with this game.

Insomniac Chief Creative Officer thinks the PS3 has the most advanced hardware: Insomniac Games is in a pretty unique position. The company isn't owned by Sony, yet is responsible for two of the PlayStation 3's most important Sony published titles: Resistance and Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction.
Speaking to VideoGamer.com in an exclusive interview to be published tomorrow, Insomniac's Brain Hastings has given his opinion on the current state of PlayStation 3 development and what's still to come.
"The amount of action we're able to put on the screen at 60 frames per second really dwarfs what we were able to do a year ago at 30 frames per second," said Hastings. "What's most exciting is the way things are headed right now I think we'll see just as big a leap from our second generation engine to our third as we did from the first to second."
Looking ahead, he was equally as optimistic: "We're already seeing a big leap in what people are able to do with the PS3 now compared to a year ago, and we're going to see just as big a leap between now and the end of 2008," said the Insomniac Games Chief Creative Officer. "I think we're going to continue seeing major leaps each year in what people are able to do with the machine for at least three or four more years."รง

"Yes there is an install option which places a bunch of the commonly used content on your hard drive to speed up loading and texture streaming times a bit. It does not install everything - you still have to put the disc in the drive to run the game. The install is absolutely not essential. The game runs just fine from the Bluray and load times aren't bad but if you're going to play the game a lot, and you've got an extra 3.5Gb on your hard drive, then you might as well do the install because the few seconds you save here and there will add up over time. If you want to free up space you can delete the installed data at any time."
