Not to be callous, but you could just look at the guy and see it was coming. And he must have known too, you don't treat your body like a dumpster for that long and expect to not have consequences.

That being said, I really hope he pulls through and makes the changes he needs to. I've been a big fan for a long time and would miss his brand of wit/comedy.
