@joshrmeyer: And just so you know, I wasn't specifically trying to call you ignorant in my comment. I just meant that there seems to be a lot of ignorance around 4K, and a lot of people are getting their info from sources that are not being honest, or just have no clue about how all of this works.

And yes, Sony has claimed native 4K on games that aren't, but then put in the "variable resolution" disclaimer after the fact.

@joshrmeyer: OMFG, are people really this ignorant about 4K? Jesus, people are so gullible. Almost every PS4 Pro game that claims to run in native 4K isn't even hitting 50% of true 4K.

@Thanatos2k: Actually, I take everything I see/read/hear with a healthy hit of skepticism nowadays. Seems like everyone has some kind of agenda, so it's hard to trust that information isn't being slanted.

I was just giving my impression of the documentary. If it comes out that it was skewed against Mitchell, that wouldn't surprise me in the least, but I also can't deny that he does come off extremely pompous, (not just in the documentary).

I thought the King of Kong was one of the most engrossing documentaries I have ever watched. But my big takeaway from it was that Billie Mitchell was a pompous douchbag, (he almost acts like someone who wants to be hated), and it was so much easier for me to want to be in Wiebe's corner.
