And much like the LoTR where it would have made much more sense to just have one of the giant eagles fly over mount doom and just drop the one ring in, of course they're not just going to have one of the dragons fly beyond the wall and snatch up one of the white walkers for them. That would be way too easy.

It's all going a bit off the rails in my opinion.
