@Barighm: "Canon shredding" does not have to be a bad thing. Many different takes on Batman in the comic/graphic novel realm that are not official canon are better than a lot of the material that is.
This seems especially true in the Batman universe.
Not saying BvS was great, (I didn't hate it personally), but maybe shredding the canon a bit could be just what this series needs.
@tdawgg30: I'm not saying it would be hard for devs to port their games, I'm saying that the Switch versions would probably be inferior to the same game running on PS4 or XBone.
New Zelda, Mario, Metroid, Smash Bros etc, and more good exclusives like Bayonetta and Xenoblade on the WiiU should be the focus.
But yes, it will be good to get more info, even though I am getting one regardless.
@jerjef: I get that. But let's be honest here, the install base on gamers who will ONLY own a switch and not have PS4, XBone or PC will be pretty small comparatively speaking.
Mutliplats or ports of older titles just won't make a lot of sense for the Switch when they can be played on better tech. First party and exclusives will be Nintendo's bread and butter for this console.
How does it make sense for Capcom to put any games on the Switch unless they are exclusive?
Nothing against the Switch, (I'm getting one), but why would I want to play a downgraded version of a game I could just play on the PS4 or XBone? That goes for ports or new titles.
I think with the Switch, Nintendo needs to focus on the first party franchises and getting exclusives. Multiplatform titles or ports of older titles just don't make much sense for them.
