As far as I've heard A) The governor is exempting the unions that supported him (state troopers, firefighters, etc..) B) The amount for the deficit is counting on all programs being completely funded which apparently never happens C) He apparently added a fair amount to this deficit earlier when he passed some tax breaks for corporations D)The unions have agreed to the parts of the bill that would fix the deficit (paying more into their pension funds, that kind of thing) E) The only thing that unions aren't agreeing to is giving up the right to collective bargaining which would essentially break them and getting rid of this would do nothing for the deficit. Correct me if I'm wrong on anything but it seems like now it's just about trying to take down unions. As for teachers having it good, that's just beyond ridiculous. My mother is a special ed teacher in California so it may be slightly different but she in no way has it good. She works alot more than the 7 hours the kids are in school. She's there at least half an hour before the students, and at least two or three afterwards if not more. She has to go in on the weekends sometimes and if she doesn't she's still working from home. She may get the summer months off but she doesn't get paid for them, even though she'd rather not she teaches summer school because she needs the money.

If the Muslims in my community didn't have a place to pray at I would have no problem with them using my church. The way I see it we're all praying to the same God and I have no problem praying in Cathedrals or Synagogues despite the fact that I'm protestant (I realize there's a bigger difference with Islam but you get my point.) The only problem I have is this concept of Christianity as being polytheistic. I kinda get where they're coming from because of the Trinity but It's kinda ridiculous at the same time. As Christian I believe in one God and one God only.

Yea, and if it had worked out it would of been a great story to tell the kids, unfortunately it did not.

I wouldn't say he's the best but he's pretty good. MBDF was definitely one of my favourite albums last year.

Not exactly friendzone because she didn't know I liked her at first but eventually I kissed her and told her I liked her and she said she wasn't sure but we still acted like we were together. (making out, spending even more time alone than we usually did, etc.) Then she dropped me for another guy that she also ended up not dating. We used to be pretty much best friends, now not so much.

Tall but not taller than me, hispanic, long wavy hair, beautiful eyes and smile. Fun, smart, religious but not ultra conservative, doesn't mind making a fool of herself, strong and independent.

Standard in most colleges I think, at least at mine at the end of every semester for every course. We also did it in high school but it wasn't really as effective since most kids aren't likely to base their opinion on the class itself.
