Do you think a 256MB NVidia GeForce Go 7600 would be sufficient? That would drop the price several hundred bucks.

[QUOTE="askzander"]Well, it looks like I'll be selling my old Gamecube...j3ninja10

and miss out on super smashbrothers?

not to mention you will only get $20

Yeah, but I am desperate for money. Within a month or two, I'll probably have about $1,000 to spend. I'm going to try to change the specs and make the laptop cheaper, but it will still cost me a lot...
I'm going to end up in a cycle. As soon as I get a PC, I'll have to start saving up for a new one, etc. At least until I can get a job... (I'm 14).

that is a good laptop for gaming.  personally 2g is too much for a computer.  you could spend $800 on a desktop and would be better than the laptop. but if you want a laptop adn have the money, that is a good choice.  just know that laptops are not too future proof and typically cannot be upgradedj3ninja10

Actually, I think I should probably get the SLI enabled 7900. That would bring it up to about $2,500.

I am considering getting a new laptop. I want it to be an Alienware and I want to be able to play new games moderately well. My budget right now is minimal, and I was wondering: What are some basic specs that I should get on my new laptop so that it works well but doesn't cost too much?

I have an Xbox 360 Wireless Headset and a PC Receiver. How do I control what plays through my speakers and what plays through my headset?

I have an Xbox 360 Wireless Headset and a PC Receiver. I can get my headset connected to my PC, but I am having issues with it. Some things play through the speakers and some things play through the headset. How do I adjust what comes through my headset and what comes through my speakers? Also, how do I know if my mic is working?
