As one that abhors fighting games, and those that share the feedback aesthetic, like beat 'em ups and spectacle fighters, but nonetheless enjoys with passing interest the varied character rosters of things like Smash, I must say that's an idiotic idea with a terrible name.
@mcnichoj: Whatcha gonna do when the Nichos of the world keep on hiding in savage outland caves, so far removed from us foldians they cannot even hear our cries of lamentation, that we may only deem their kingship lost? 😩💦
It is always interesting how these re releases manage to make something that looks only marginally better (if not worse as often times is the case) than the original whilst simultaneously bumping the processing requirements as well as the storage footprint several times over. I wouldn't be surprised if the Switch struggles to run this crap. And that's not exclusively a commentary on the garbage nature of the Switch.
@what101: The implication was that it failed on account of nomenclature, Oneoh. However, Nintendo's Miyamoto, in this context, is a rhetorical device. And hypothetically speaking, not even that mythical construct could've attained success for such a device. That's what I'm saying, at least. Who knows what Sladak is about.
@sladakrobot: Not even Miyamoto could have saved that console from the connotations drawn by its given name, Sladak. However, we shouldn't equate commercial failure to bad.
