Desperate Housewives

Not too shabby, I thought it was a solid season really consistant and it had a great finale, I'm not sure how I feel about the time jump, either way I want Katherine out, she is just annoying.

Lost

WOW, this season was the definition of brilliance, I loved it sooo much, The Constant, The Shape of Things to Come, Cabin Fever and There's no Place Like Home were unbelivable, seriously. I just wish I didn't have to wait till January for season 5.

CBS

How I Met Your Mother

The best season yet, I really liked it especially Sarah Chalke's apperences, I'm really glad she will be back.

Bones

Yer I'd say the best season yet, I was really suprised by the season finale, it had a nice arc with bone sending guy :D

EH, not so great, I really liked Susan/Gretchen and am glad she is sticking around but the smelly Sarah story just annoyed me.

Heroes

SOOOO underated, I actually loved the 11 episodes we got, highlights include Kristen Bell's character Elle and "Four Months Ago", not a fan of West, the abundance of new characters and Sylar's lack of evil... but Villians will be sure to bring plenty of awesome Sylar moments.

My Name is Earl

Yer it was alright not too bad not too great, some craptacular episodes though like Our Other Cops is On and Creative Writing.. I'm still shocked that it managed to get a full season in considering the strike

The Office

Some high highs and low lows, a very mixed bag of a season. Dinner Party, really, why??? that was just depressing more than anything. I loved the finale (after the second viewing) and Branch Wars, The Chairmodel and Night Out. I just hope that the next season is more consistant, I did love PB&J though and I loved Jim's near proposal and wanna kill Andy not just for stopping the proposal but also because of stopping Dwangela, which is so on no.

Scrubs

Not much to say, only 11 episodes half of with were average at best, I just hope that season 8 will be better and hopfully the last, I really don't want it to be dragged out without Zach Braff.

Gossip Girl

I was pleasently suprised by this show, I didn't expect to like it, I only watched it at first cause of my friend forced me too, but a few episodes in a fell in love, I am so excited about season 2... only a month and a half to go.

One Tree Hill

It started out good but the season got boring and I didn't really care after a little while and just hope season 6 will not be so focused on them suddenly being 10 years older (which is the way they are acting) it has only been 4 years.

Smallville

It had soo much potential and there were some fantastic episodes like Decent and Gemini, but the season finale kinda ruined it, it was sooo boring and lackluster, nothing happened, and what the hell was the point of Kara, nothing happened with her, I was expecting so much more... I have one request for season 8, more Lois.

So TV will be orgasmic this season if the freakin SAG makes a deal and we can avoid a 2nd strike, after watching like every trailer for Heroes season 3 like 50 times I think it's fair to say it looks soooo good, Lost season 4 was REALLY good, so I'm looking forward to the final seasons....

Sweeny Todd

Well i saw Sweeney Todd the other day, it didn't quite live up to the hype i think, but it still was a really good film, Helena Bonham Carter was defianatly the best actor/actress in the film, she did a really good job, Johnny Depp was good too. Some of the songs got very repediative, however the gore was really good. The dullness really suited the film and looked good, however there was one scene in which the colours were really bright and there was a happy mood, this looked really good and was wierd. The gore was suprisingly good considering that it is a mainstream film. There were a lot of British actors that i reconized, including Sacha Baron Cohen, the only comedy in the film, it seemed a little out of place, but i was expecting it when i saw his name in the credits.

Upcoming Releases

Well all movies i'v seen at the cinema this year have been really good, so i have high hopes for the rest of the year. "Run Fatboy, Run" and "Jumper" look pretty decent, they don't look as good as any of the other films iv seen this year, but they are coming out soon. "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" ,"The Dark Knight:, "The Mummy 3", "Pineapple Express", "Saw V" and "The Eye" are something to look out for, personally i love both The Mummy and The Saw series, i love Japanese horror hence "The Eye", and i love Seth Rogan comedies, plus Kristen Bell=Awesome.

School

Oh dang, tomorrow school starts, and like everytime school goes back i rarley blog and don't post anywhere near enough. So that will explain that, ill try to blog as much as possible, but it never seems to happen...BUT ILL TRY!!!

PS. I just saw Carrie and Poltergiest for the first time, they were both good, I preferd Poltergiest, but i find it laughable that these were at one point scary.

The last 3 films i'v seen have all been ridiculously awesome, i have never had a better run of movies, seriously these are really good. Of course this post will have mild spoilers but ill seperate them into movies, so if you have only seen one, than you can just skip to that movie :D

Juno

I was expecting a lot from this movie, i went in, and it shattered my expectations. This is what i want for the future of the entertainemnt industry, intelligence. I'm sick of these stupid gross-out/parody comedies that make lots of money. Juno had real emotion, despite it being a comedy. I nearly cried when Juno waddled out of the adoptive parents house to her car after the fight, it was really sad. Seriously peple this is a great film.

Grindhouse

Grindhouse never got releases in theatres in Australia with both films together, however a lesser known theatre is playing it for 1 week only, so i had to see it. Well Planet terror was excellent, the stupidity (on purpose) of the characters, and the amount of blood whenever someone was hit by a car or bullet, it was ridiculously funny. Death Proof wasn't as good, but still a decent film, very comedic, the whole theatre was laughing half the time. The fake trailers were ridiculosuly funny, Simmon Pegg's add was the funniest, Eli Roth is apparantly making his trailer into a movie. These movie are definalty worth the money, expecially since it's 3 hours for 1 admission, we even got an intermission, which is always good for me because i always need to go to the toilet during a movie.

Cloverfield

I saw this yesterday because there were no films left i wan't to se, so i figure JJ Abrams, i might aswell. I didn't even know what it was about, i had only seen the poster. When i went to buy my ticket, the lady asked me if it was alright if it caused motion sickness. This was a bloody awesome film, the best part about it was that i didn't know what it was about, so it was a suprise, it was really Godzilla like, but still it didn't bother me. This again was worth every cent and was genuinly loved every second, i will be watching this again when it'd released on DVD

So everyone, i hope you enjojed my talking and i hope you see/have seen these movies and loved them. I will watch Sweeney Tood next week before school goes back.

OMG, the funniest thing happened yesterday, i was working at my video store (as you do) and some guy comes up to rent Angel season 2, so i was talking to him about it and he loves it and i asked if he has watched Buffy and he said no (but my boss is currently watrching season 7 for the first time, which makes me insanly jealous), and that he doesn't want to because he said he doesn't like SMG, so i asked why not...........

He says, because the is a b***h, and he has worked with her before on Scooby Doo. So I kept asking questions, and he was saying that she was bitter and he joked saying it's probabley because she never eats that she was grumpy, i was kinda shocked and i laughed. The guy was really nice, so i don't think he was just spreading crap.

So people, make what you want of that, and leave HEAPS of comments :D

1) Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Best Season: 5 then 3, 7, 6, 2, 4, 1

Best Episode: THE GIFT, what a thing of beauty, the entire episode is like a dream. Runners up, "Once More, With Feeling" and "Chosen" a great send off

Best Scene: The final scene in the gift as we hear Buffy's voiceover as she dives into the portal to save her sisters life, and the Scoobies discover her body. Runner Up, Faith/Buffy fight in Graduation Day (1), what a F@#$&*G great scene.

2) Angel

Best Season: 5 then 4, 1, 3, 2

Best Episode: Your Welcome, a sad and great exit for a great character. Runners up, "Not Fade Away" and "A Hole in the World", sad much?

Best Scene: Fred's death and the final few seconds of "Not Fade Away"

3) Veronica Mars

Best Season: 1 then 2, 3 (Season 3 wasn't....that bad, a good SEASON finale, but not as a series finale)

Best Episode: Not Pictured, OMG what brillence. Runners up, "Pilot" and "Leave it to Beaver"

Best Scene: The bus crash scene, soooo unexpected, I thought it was a dispaointing season opener, but that scene BLEW MY MIND. Runners up, first Abel Koontz scene when he tells her that Keith isn't her dad, also the Lily scene when Veronica asks Lily if Able killed her and she say "I can't tell you that"

We are into full gear this week with every show started. Pretty good week, but probably not as good as the first week. But still id give every show up for Veronica Mars :cry: this season is so empty without it.

SUNDAY

Desperate Housewives

A great season opener, however I'm sick of the formula. A new family moved in, and they have a secret. The scene at the BBQ with Bree being stabbed with the fork was pretty funny. I like that they have given a good story to Julie for this season. Lynette's baldness was pretty shocking

American Dad!

I really enjoyed this episode, it was hilarious. I liked that they kept putting each other in the vacation goo, but I thought Francine put the rest of the family in the goo when they went on the trip, but no it was real and they all did resort to cannabism. Gross Much? A good season opener

Family Guy

Well it was an improvement from last week, cause that episode bored the crap out of me, but still it was pretty bad. The whole story with Meg and Chris was lame and not funny, I got so bored with the jokes about the movies and Chris and the manger kept saying the same thing…..arg.

MONDAY

Heroes

A decent episode, but once again no Niki!!!!!!!!!!! She is one of my favourite characters, so dang, but she will be back next week, so that will be good. Lizards was awesome still though, and Claire was awesome when she cut of her toe, I knew it would happen when she was asking all those questions in c l a s s. Peter had a decent story, but still it felt weird, I do want to see what is in the box though. Hiro was hilarious, he is Kensei now. I liked the whole thing with Angela, she was attacked when she was in the police station, YAY, this season looks promising.

Prison Break

This was a really good episode, I have great hope for the rest of the season now, Prison Break is as good as it was in season 1 and it is one of my favourite shows now. What's in the box you may ask? VERONICA'S HEAD….maybe. Well I am looking forward to the rest of the season. I looked like it was SWC in the photos that Linc and Michael had.

TUESDAY

Bones X2

I have watched both episodes now and they were both pretty good, I think the second episode was better. Booth and Brennan (BB :)) Should just get together already, it was hilarious when Brennan said she was good in bed, but Booth would have no knowledge of that. Also Brennan is dealing with weather or not to visit her father. Hodgins is attracted to this hot FBI chick and keeps stammering around her, but Angela doesn't mind, it's all pretty funny.

WEDNESDAY

South Park

A very funny episode, I'm glad South Park is back it is very funny. Cartman fakes tourettes whilst Kyle has to apologize for saying he is faking it. And it was uncensored YAY, finally I'm so sick of hearing the bleep noise when someone has something funny to say.

Bionic Woman

A good second episode is it looking to be a great show, I am enjoying the sister story, she seems to be much better than the deaf sister, she kinda bored me. The shootout scenes were pretty damn cool, also when Jamie grabbed the suicide girl as she jumped of the roof. And that guy at the bookshop was involved the company.

Gossip Girl

I was getting bored of this and I didn't think I was going to watch the 3rd episode, but I did and I thought it was pretty damn good a big improvement from the last 2 weeks. I felt bad for Serena when Blair told everyone that she was in rehab. So Serena's brother told Blair that she was only there to visit him because he tried to kill himself, Blair was speechless, that was pretty good.

THURSDAY

Smallville

Not as good as the season opener, however it shows great promise for the rest of the season. Lex tracked down Lana in China, but for some reason she didn't see her coming even though she was sitting in front if a mirror, stupid Lana. Lex also got out of gaol obviously cause he went to China. Lois discovered Kara's ship and wrote an article and got a job at the daily planet, but this made Chloe feel bad, because the new boss pretty much said that she doesn't write anything good anymore:(. Kara went on a mission to find Clark, but she was expecting him to be an infant, so she was surprised to learn that she has been "asleep" for 18 years whilst her home planet was exploded. They tried to find her ship but it exploded because Los touched it, and her crystal was taken by a mysterious man

The Office

A very good episode, this episode was slightly better than the first, they were both really great though. The whole office finds out about Jim and Pam and some problems arise. Ryan comes back to tell the office that they are updating the way they do business using the internet and Michael feels too old and is trying to convince everyone that they need to keep things the way they are. Michael and Dwight give gift baskets to clients they have lost in order for them to come back, but they don't, it's all very funny. Kelly tries to get Ryan back by pretending she is pregnant, and Dwight tries to get back together with Angela, but she tried but sees sprinkles every time she looks at him :lol:

My Name is Earl

Not a very good episode, but still it was alright. Once again no Catalina, she rarely gets much screen time. It is defiantly a good setup for the rest of the season though, Randy got a job as a prison guard, this means that Randy and Earl will see more of each other and it will tie the characters closer together. Also Earl and the Warden are kinda friends, and he gave Earl 5 weeks off of his prison sentence, this means that as he does good deeds in the prison he will get time of his sentence, so he will probably we out at the end of the season.

Well the fall season has just begun and i have so far been very pleasantly suprised with every show! I wrote a blog this time last year and was whinging about how bad last season was, but its pretty much the opposite this year.

Desperate Housewives and American Dad! are yet to begin this fall, with One Tree Hill, Lost and 24 to start in January and February.

SUNDAY

Family Guy

Eh, i wasn't too impressed i was pretty excited because it was an hour epsidoes, however i was dissapointed, but it could have been because i have no interest in Star Wars whatsoever. A couple of good jokes stil, i didn't like the lack of Meg, it seems that Herbert has taken her place.

MONDAY

Heroes

WOW, what a premier, just wow I was pretty nervous it wouldn't live up to my expectations, but it met them and some. It really thought it was a great set up for the rest of the season , which was what i was worried they might not be a able to do.I love that the parents of Peter, Nathan and Hiro are being targeted, that should prove to be really good.

Prison Break X2

I wasn't really expected anything great at all because i thought season 2 was really crappy, however they were both really solid episodes. I like that Lincoln is on theoutside and has to et back LJ and Sara (which i don't see how they are gonna get rid of Sara without SWC). I am looking forward to the rest of the season more than before.

TUESDAY

Bones

I have only seen the first 10 minutes cause i was tired, it was pretty good, ill watch the rest soon enough. I thought it was a good follow up to the season finale.

WEDNESDAY

Bionic Woman

I had already seen the preair pilot so there isn't a great deal to say, however i must comment on the sister, i prefered her to the origional one, which i only know as Anna from Arrested Development. I am looking forward to the sisters story, i wonder why she is not allowed anywhere near a computer. Definatly the best new series!!!

Gossip Girl X2

I wasn't really looking forward to it, however i think it's an alright show, thers a bit going on there, ill see how it goes, but the ratings have been pretty poor, i think the CW was counting on it pushing up there ratings.

THURSDAY

Smallville

WOW that was a brilliant premier, Laura Vandervoot is great and im glad that she has been made star role as Supergirl. I liked how Chloe woke up in the mourge and she will probabley have to deal with that for a little while and I wanna see where her knew ability will take her. I also like that Lana was in China, i thought that was cool and this season is gonna be great i reckon. Jimmy and Lionel wern't in this episode.

The Office

That was a funny episode, and it was a DOUBLE EPISODE!!! Very funny, i loved Mereith's face when Michael hit her and Michael explaining to the office about the accident but not telling them he hit her. And JAM is together, finally. And we have another 3 double episodes!!!!!! I loved the fight between Angela and Dwight, HAHA Dwight hating cats is hilarious.

My Name is Earl

Also a double episode. I was pleasantly suprised with this episode, i had grown a little bored of it, however it was great. The best part was that Joy is now taking care of Randy because Earl took her place in goal (jail for u Americans). I'd be suprised if he is in gaol for the next to years though, he might get out because of good behaviour or something.

FRIDAY

Moonlight

I saw an awesome promo for this so i thought id check out the first episode. What a pile of crap!!! The acting was horrible, the writing was just terrible. It just seems to seperate itself from Angel he can only die from beheading and being set on fire. He can even walk around in the sun, he just has to where sunglasses......what a crock!!

AH, well the fall season starts soon, so what better to do that to analyze my excitment levels and spoilers. So lets dicuss TV.

NBC (my favourite network currently)

Heroes

I am very excited about the second season of Heroes, especially becuase KRISTEN BELL is gonna be in most episodes. She plays Elle, a woman that has ties to HRG, Claire and Peter, i think, and aparantly her power is electricity related.

Bionic Woman

I have seen the pilot and i LOVED it, i am looking forward to this heaps, this WILL be a hit, i know it. I saw the origional pilot though, so it is different, but i think it is supposed to be similar, this is gonna be awesome and judging from the pilot it has alot of potential.

The Office

My favourtie comedy on TV, one of my favourite ever, tying with Arrested Development(RIP) and Seinfeld. This show makes me laugh SOOO much, it's bloody awesome. Dwight, anything he does is great. The best thing about it is that the first 4 episodes are HOUR LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how awesome is that :D

Scrubs

Ah this so is sooo dumb, but i love it for that, it makes no sense, but it makes me laught, so i guess it gets its point across. There are only 18 episodes left ever as the ratings for the last couple of seasons have been pretty bad for NBC, becuase of the reduced order we have to wait till October 25 for the season to begin, but thats OK cause other show have started.

Well im kinda bored with this but still ill continue watching it for at least a little while, but after that if i still find it boring ill just stop watching. The first episode ishour long, so it should be above average.

Smallville

SEASON SEVEN!!! I love Smallville and i am very excited about this season, i have seen a couple of trailers that don't show much, i can't wait to see how Lana and Chloe both come back to life, Lana get cloned or something, and Chloe is in a coma or something. I reckon Kara will be awesome, plus shes really hot :P It is quite likley that this is the finale season, otherwise if they continue without Lana and Lex (contracts up and they won't to leave after this season), it will last up to 8 seasons, which I don't object to.

One Tree Hill

I have watched the first (and only) 4 seasons inbetween May and now as there was nothing else to watch and i found it quite enjoyable especially seasons 3 and 4. So ill watch season 5, but it doesn't start til January.

I am quite excited about this, i find this show to be silly, but i have watched it since the pilot and i like it, i find it to be quite outragous in a good way.

Im really annoyed that i have to wait untill February, so i haven't really thought too much about it, Lost is one of my favourite shows, but still FEBRUARY!!!!! BOOOOOOOOO. Oh well at least then we don't have repeats, and i don't have to worry about cancellation

Family Guy

Well Family Guy has gone downhill heaos since its return, so i dunno, i like it but im disapointed still, but never the less, at least we get a one hour premier episode, but i hate Herbert, hes overused.

American Dad!

I Love American Dad, it is very constant, much more that Family Guy, Roger is sooo funny, not too much to say except that i am very excited about this, it is funny and i prefer it to Family Guy now, i didn't origionally, but FG has gotton really bad.

This show is fun to watch to find out how they discover how the murderes are and how they find the identity of the body. Plus the Brennan/Booth chemistry is really good, i think that is why alot of people like it.

Last season was horrible so im not excited about this season, but will watch it as it should be better and i used to love it, i am also not very excited because it doesn't start until January, so i am never too excited when that happenes.

I didn't like last season too much at all, but i loved season 1 and this season they are lovked uo again, so i hope the dinamic will shift back to that of season 1, so that is making me very excited .

Summer Heights High

This show is freakin hilarious, and so Australian, i haven't stopped saying to my teachers "Puck You", but most of them know what it is off, so they don't mind, so i don't get in trouble. the show is so funny, All three of them remind me off people i know, Chris Lilley is a genius, he know charactors very well, only 6 episodes left though :(

The Chaser's War on Everything

Ah the Chaser team.... so funny they are, their recent APEC stunt was bloody brialliant and the footage was great, i love their attacks at ACA and TT, becuase they are just crappy. I hope it gets a 3 season, im sure it will cause the ratings are really high, but if Julian and Chas go to jail they might not get a 3rd season :(

Kath & Kim

Well i have watched this from the beginning, but i have found it to be getting very repedative, but still very funny, i have found this series to be kinda disapointing but the latest episode was hilarious, especially with the rain water tank. Only 4 episodes left :( (3 after tonight), the ratings have been ridicuously high, so im sure it will get a 5th series, but it will take forever for it to arrice

I can't wait till the fall season, the first show starts in less than a week (Prison Break). The last 4 TV-less months have been boring, but im really excited

I am most excited about The Office, Heroes, Smallville and Bionic Women....and eventually Lost, but that isn't until February :(

I saw the pilot for Bionic Women (the origonal one) and i thought it was really good, so i am REALLY excited about it. I am sure that it will be the hit of the season, which will mean that NBC won 2 years in a role (Heroes). The episode reminded me of Buffy because of the Buffy/Faith fight scenes.

I haven't seen that many trailers for the new seasons, i saw a 10 second one for Smallville and a pretty long one for Heroes. So, i am looking forward to this fall :( but still, no Veronica Mars, otherwise it is looking like it's gonna be a great season
