Yes, its quite clear Crysis 2 will be the graphics king on PC/PS3/360 :P

II_Seraphim_II

I still think KZ2 looks better!

*runs away*

KZ2 looks amazing. that why hermits will eventually FAIL. they only care about GRAPHICS AND RESOLUTION, thats the only thing they can brag about. and current consoles are allready HIGH def. sure they wont output 3840x2400 res but hey. 720p its already HD why dont you let programers elaborate on that

for sure cyrsis 2 will look better on ps3 than on a 299PC. thats the thing games are optimized tfor console hardware. while in PC you depend from the latest upgrades to play better sometimes.

[QUOTE="tester962"]

[QUOTE="samuraiguns"] Where is the Blu-Ray drive?samuraiguns

Blu-Ray isnt needed to play games. There isnt one Blu-Ray game for the computer yet that I know of.

I know that, but that was to show ownage over the PS3, it cant show ownage if the drive is vastly inferior.

I SAID A GAMING MULTIMEDIA SYSTEM THAT COULD INCLUDE BLU RAY. and believe me the ps3 is better than what you think. + PC will be here forever, my next laptop will be able to play crysis at high, that doesnt mean its better than a PS3

My rig is 400$ and I'm running Crysis on high, and what do I get:

-Mods

-Free dlc

-Free map packs

-Better online

-10$ cheaper games AND Steam and Impulse weekend sales on both new and old games, not to mention games go down much faster in price when compared to console games

-Better games (objectively, it has the most AAA/AA this gen, just like every gen)

-Better controls, don't want KB+M? plug in a controller

-You get a gaming AND a multimedia system

-DD

-Better graphics

Tell me when the PS3 has that ^^^. I can put in 200$ more and I'd have a killer rig.

Gamerz1569
my PS3 is 299$ it can play GT5,MW2,GOW3. and it will play the latest games till 2017 at least! good luck with your rig.

There

forgot to add the ram http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820159015 just an extra $24.

total is $303 before the mail-in rebates... Obviously its not a top of the line pc but it can run crysis on high with good frame rates. I would take this over the ps3 any day.

Obviously with $200 more I can make a pc ten times this one.

hysam20241

yes? thats a pretty **** PC. 303$ but you still need RAM and OS. add 150 $ =453 =PS3299>PC

Ram is just $24 as i showed you and this pc has a 500gb hard drive as a luxury anyways. For the OS ,you can just use linux for free. Obviously if your invested $299 for a pc a $150 os is not a practical idea.

i mean. i love linux and so on, but i think that someone that spends 299 for his gaming and multimedia entertainment will get a better experience out of the PS3.

why would you bother?

the PC is the premium gaming system and as such if you are serious about getting the best possible gaming experience, you must be prepared to pay for the priveledge.

If you can't afford the premium system then by all means only get a console, but don't try to compare them.

A Ford Mondeo and a Lamborghini both have four wheels and steering wheel, and both use the same road but I know which one I would rather be driving.

N3xus9
thats what ive been telling the PC fans. but they kept insisting that people should buy 400 'PC instead of Ps3. no way.

[QUOTE="Vadamee"]Lets try it and see how those hermkids scrabble with a response. ***Notice how most of the over zealous vehement ones go in the opposite direction of the price debacle, including high-end parts just to argue the "Value" game. Never mind the fact that most users don't even USE a fraction of what the PC is capable of*** 1. BD-ROM- $100 2. 9600GT- $75 3. AMD Phenom X2 - $65 4. AM2+ class Mainboard - $65 (already over budget) 5. 1GB of DDR800- $20 6. Case - $30 7. XP OEM - $89 Total: $444 Did I miss something?

MMMM wheres your HDD ?

that would be extremely hard to do. However....this is theoretical...unless you don't actualy intend to play any games on PS3 or PC. Because considering that PS3 games retail for about 25-30 dollars more than PC ones here in Europe, the "cheapness" of PS3 seems more like a clever con designed to lure you into overpaying each time you buy a game, ultimately making you pay a lot more than PC costed

AdrianWerner
yes only that for most PC gamers. RETAIL is a word out of their dictionary. the word for them is PIRATEBAY, not retail.
