Although I love this game, Heavy Rain had its moments of terrible voice acting. Now it also had some of the best. But alot of it felt awkward.

Doesnt discredit the game from being awesome though.

I think it was mostly because the actors where all australian (if i remember correctly). You could hear (US/Canadian) english wasnt the language they spoke everyday. But absolutely great game!

There isn't a big difference between Australian and US English, outside of the slang. Also, most of the main voice actors were British, rather than French. I think the guy who played Shelby was the only American voicing a major character.

Ah damn, werent they french? I remember they were australian but then someone said french, but now im just confused. Sold the game after beating it so cant watch the little video about it again =/

Anyway, the children's acting in that was awful, but it wasn't close to the worst voice acting I've heard in a game. I mean jesus, where do you begin? Pretty much any dub for a Japanese made game, for starters.

Wow, great responses. I was kinda afraid people wouldnt want to share about their 'emotional' side. Good to know games do touch people on an emotional level besides being a sort of entertainment. :D

I think the controls are a little 'iffy' at times, they can get annoying but you do get used to them. The gun shooting also, I noticed, had a lot of recoil. So if youre having trouble with that too, start at guys chest area and itll naturally go up for a headshot. My friend (that barely plays games) was playing and thanks to her bad aiming she kept getting headshots cause it was naturally going up towards the bad guys heads. Have fun and good luck! p.s. Its a really good story too!

So I was wondering this the other day.

Has a game ever made you cry? Has a game touched you so much emotionally, that you actually had tears streaming down your face?

I think its something hard to do, and something that barely ever happens. The only game i ever cared about on an 'emotional' level and that made me cry was Heavy Rain. That game played with my emotions like no other game has ever done.

I think Heavy Rain plays with human emotion (better than any other game out there)and thats why it makes it great.

So, has a video game ever made you cry or get really emotional?

I thought it was a waste of my hard drive. I was in the closed beta and even with all the updates it was never my cup of tea. I got a couple of friends that play it very often though. At first it was fun messing around, randomly dancing and making fake avatars but the fun lasted only for a moment.

[QUOTE="av10"]'Man, I'm so Pro at this game with my skill-kill Akimbo shotties! I should be a MLG player!' lol those 87's are still waay overpoweredMythomniac
When was the last time you played MW2, the 1887's have been patched. Twice.

I know they have, thats why i said they are STILL way overpowered. People still getting others from 20 feet away. Just saying..
