My headphones are wireless. All I am saying people with expensive headphones are basically unable to have this product because Sony wanted to save the 5 dollars and take out the optical out which my wireless headphones to use with the ps4 slim useless for me anyway.

@smokerob79: actually the usb dongle has a cable that connects from the optical port to the dongle that has to be connected to the ps4. Hence why you can't connect it to the TV. One reason I will never purchase a PS4 slim. It will prob still work for stero sound but I purchased 5.1 surround headphones for a reason tho.

No digital out so your expensive headsets now don't work correctly.

@GH05T-666: Me also I was sure I was gonna buy the pro for my basement but now I am not sure about even the slim no digital optical out so my headset is bacially useless on the new model. Might just stick with original and buy another original ps4.

I would assume as I also live in Canada the price will be 350 for slim and 450 for the pro.

Wasn't the original in 1080p resolution. Hopefully they also made the resolution to 4k. Cause who cares about 1080 anymore.

Only thing I bought last year was a lego batman clock for my kid.
