well even if it did include the ps3 you would have had to have bought the ps3 between october 2007-dec 2007. So it you had bought it earlier the promo wouldn't have applied to you anyways..
if the pc will recognize the adapter, yes. But i don't have one so I can't test this out...most likely it won't unless you can find some drivers someone made for it
i'm sure there is a better way, but you could try saving thedata on a memory card (Sd/memory stick ect) put that into the ps3 (do you have one?) then transfer the save's to the ps3. Then use the ps2/ps3 memory card adapter and transfer it to a ps2 memory card...
I was pretty surprised when EGM sat down for an interview with Jack Tretton & then basically blindsided him with a barrage of questions that were all basically "Why does the PS3 suck so bad". Then they put a picture of the the PS3 on the cover with tomatoes splattered all over it. I bet JT wouldn't have done that interview with them if he had any idea that is how it was going to go, (they even went so far as to print pictures of him looking pretty pissed/somber).
But at the same time, I don't think that makes EGM biased, & their comment about Assassin's Creed really isn't slamming the PS3, but I think the way they blindsided JT was BS.

Look up a game called lifeline for the ps2...it sucked but same idea. Voice recognition/A.I programming is difficult but, not impossible. You'll be able to talk to them and they'll answer with whatever they've been programmed to answer of course (no living/growing/evolving A.I just yet)... also look up the phillip k. Dick android thats been programmed to answer questions and stuff...
read their return policy and see whats up. I'm pretty sure the stores have certain criteria/policy to inspect to see if what you say is true, but sometimes it just depends on who your talkin' to at the store. Some people could care less and will exchange it for you and others won't... get someone to call and ask ahead of time and see if they'll take it or wrap the 360 in a blanket or something till it really dies and exchange...
