it aint your cables, your ps3 is probably outputtin the wrong signal.

when the ps3 is on the red light, hold the power button for about 10 seconds (you should hear 2 beeps) this will reset everything

i dont have a hdtv but i play on my 40" sdtv and i hate it..

its pretty blury usually, small text is still abit visible but its not sharp and clear..

i do have a 22" monitor which i play on sometimes and that rocks

i want my ps3 to run 720p on my monitor this is how i will do it

from the ps3 i connect a hdmi cable to it, then i convert that to DVI with a converter and convert that down to VGA with another converter and plugs into my monitor.

im only doing this because i want to play my pc and ps3 on my monitor. i know there are dvi splitters out there but im too lazy to go buy one and they cost quite abit.

monitor is a samsung 226bw 22 inch hdcp
