it's all about preference, FPS's normally are best played on a pc but the third person factor does have an impact on gameplay for some. but this isn't your typical third person shooter, say like the gears of war series or the GRAW series. there is a lot of close quarter action and that's when things get finicky. another example, CoD 4 i would soooo not be able to play on the 360 for the simple reason that my reaction time wouldn't be fast enough using a controller, and neither would be my ability to take headshots for example, and you know in that game sh*t goes down like no tomorrow so i've stuck to the pc on that one.
what is very crucial for this game to enjoy IS the sound, so don't cheap out on it otherwise you won't be experiencing the game to its fullest potential. it'll make hell of a difference that's for sure. i pretty much plan on hooking up my laptop to my tv with an hdmi cable so i'll be playing on the same tv i play my 360 on, except with a mouse and keyboard. that's how i played crysis and i pretty much died due to the sheer awesomeness. i would highly recommend anyone try that set up if they can. it takes a bit to get used to but once you get going it's totally worth it in the end.
