it's all about preference, FPS's normally are best played on a pc but the third person factor does have an impact on gameplay for some. but this isn't your typical third person shooter, say like the gears of war series or the GRAW series. there is a lot of close quarter action and that's when things get finicky. another example, CoD 4 i would soooo not be able to play on the 360 for the simple reason that my reaction time wouldn't be fast enough using a controller, and neither would be my ability to take headshots for example, and you know in that game sh*t goes down like no tomorrow so i've stuck to the pc on that one.

what is very crucial for this game to enjoy IS the sound, so don't cheap out on it otherwise you won't be experiencing the game to its fullest potential. it'll make hell of a difference that's for sure. i pretty much plan on hooking up my laptop to my tv with an hdmi cable so i'll be playing on the same tv i play my 360 on, except with a mouse and keyboard. that's how i played crysis and i pretty much died due to the sheer awesomeness. i would highly recommend anyone try that set up if they can. it takes a bit to get used to but once you get going it's totally worth it in the end.

hey everyone,

so i have a question about the RAM installed in my laptop. i have a dell xps 1530 and basically what i wanted to find out was, if i have 4GB DDR2 RAM rated at 667 mhz and the laptop has a intel core 2 duo T8300 with a front side bus of 800 mhz...is there a performance difference if i were to change the RAM with 800 mhz sticks? or is it even worth it? i know what some will think...that its 4GB what do you care? well that's what i'm trying to find out...whether there's a gain in performance or whether it would help with games at all (the hardware intensive ones for example).

any thoughts on this would be helpful to me. thanks in advance.

hi there,

just curious, for the pc version of the game i've noticed during those load screens that cars such as the lamborghini gallardo or a few others that i can't remember their names but they seem to have halogen headlights. let me elaborate...during the game initially the cars have headlights that work but are white...halogen headlights would be almost as if there's a slight blue tinge to the headlights (you'd know the difference if you were a fan of the nfs underground series). anyways my question is, does anyone see that difference in cars during the game at all? i checked out some xbox 360 images and they seem to have that effect going. i'm just curious if my video card can't process those effects or something? i've got an ati radeon x1300 with 256 mb onboard ram and a gig of ram in my pc. the game runs fine and all at pretty high settings. i just thought i'd ask this question, because i just got the slr mclaren and the lamborghini gallardo in the career mode, and they just have regular headlight effects in the game. oh and one of the other cars that is shown during the load screens is the lamborghini murcielago that has halogen headlights.

anyways if anyone can shed any light on this that would be great (and pardon the pun there hehe). maybe nvidia users see this effect as ati cards can't do it? i doubt that but you never know...

ciao,

B
