i had my doubts too, but I broke down and bought this game and couldn't stop playing it. Its great!! I can't wait to play it with friends. I wish they had done an on-line component.

I think san andreas was the biggest leap in the series by far with all the character modification, new ability to go inside some place, the controlling of gang territory, etc.

Unfortunately I haven't gotten to play GTAIV yet, though I'm dying to, but I think Rockstar kind of took a step back. I think they concentrated so much on the realistic map, graphics, and going inside buildings that they didn't put as much variety in the game. I'm sure for the next installment there will be more character personalization, cars, more than 15 weapons, destructible environments, more aircraft, bring Parachutes back,

I love snow skiing and really hope this game turns out well, but I have some big doubts. I like that it features some more realistic skiing action, but I think that might get old. It will be a good use of the balance board, but that might be it. I wish it also had the craziness of SSX.

I never played blur, but I loved all the ps2 ssx games.
