I bought it for this christmas because it was on sale, and i think it upgraded me to free for the full game because it says i own it and i can download it, but i created this thread because i shared the same worries as you. So i don't really know.
Went there, said i was beyond Recommended. Lol. Almost got it too. i wouldnt even be able to run it on low though? thats weird. I can run A.V.A, Forsaken World, Killing Floor, and Battleforge. I'd say more but my computer is relatively new and i haven't bought too many games. Although im downloading a bunch right now. Christmas sale on steam.
I understand the graphic card sucks but i just want to make sure i can run the game smoothly with every setting on low. I've seen youtube videos but just want to be safe in case i buy this game. I'm only looking for around 25fps.
Also, if anyone else can confirm the free upgrade from standalone to warhammer 40k, that would be nice. Because i am wondering if the upgrade is only through christmas or something because it would seem kinda stupid for someone to buy a 5 dollar piece of a game and then get that upgraded for free to the 15 dollar version. seems like steam wouldnt let people do that. not that im complaining, but im just wondering if the upgrade is real or permanent or whatever.
i was just about to buy the THQ one, but after carefully thinking about it, i actually decided to piece out the games i like. Largely because torchlight and divinity II Drgaon knight saga went on sale and if i bought the pack, i couldnt get those. ive wanted those for a while. So now the ones im going to try to get are those two, supreme commander, dawn of war 2, and maybe the first crysis.
