[QUOTE="Hoffgod"]Well, your opinions have been ripped to shreads, so let me just answer the one remaining question. Why is Nintendo still around? Because they make money. Thread over.

True, Gamecube made most profit.

As far as i see Nintendo lately:

N64 - Failed because of cartridges and it was very expensive to make/buy. Not alot of support from 3rd party developers who all went to Sony.

Gameboy - Low powered kiddy looking handheld consoles that don't have good games tbh.

GC - Failed, no online or 3rd party support, had the same games over and over again.

DS - Gimmick touch screen that no game really makes use of. The games all seem very poor to me and the handheld looked poor until the lite. I havn't seen anyone with one in the UK personally so dunno why other countries seem to like em soo much.

Wii - I think this consoles controls and lack of power will make 3rd part developers stick to the PS3 and 360 because they're easier to develop for. I think Nintendo will have delivered a flop again like the GC and will only have nintendo game support. The controller will turn into a gimmick like the DS touch screen and only Nintendo fanbois will buy. I find it impossible to see this as a success.

It'll just become the console to play all your classic Nintendo games on.

That said though i think all the next gen consoles look pretty ****

Slannmage

This is were you fail the Gameboy was a huge success able to take out other more powerful handhelds of its time.
Also the DS is still out and the PSP might make a come back:roll: it also is a huge success.
