First diablo was on playstation. It sucked tho, no online but there was a coop that wasn't good. I pretty sure it didn't sell anywhere near as well as the pc version. Diablo 3 could work on ps3 since it can use a keyboard and mouse but I don't really see the point since the game looks like it could run on any computer

What good does that do? But Market value does factor that in to a degree. Plus we are talking about payola to companies to keep stuff on the 360 and away from the PS3. How does owning a TV mfg plant help them pay off capcom? When M$ has money just sitting there that they need to spend.
true say but they also own movie studios and recording studios which give them money to pay off capcom. The way I see it is they just see ps3 as a small part of their business so their not going to throw 50 mill let's say to pay off capcom but M$ has less assets so its money can be more distributed to xbox

Ok here is how revenue works in a easy form-
Say you sell a TV for $200. That $200 will be the revenue. Out of that money you take out costs such as parts,storage,advertising, etc. Then you may be left with $20 and that $20 is net income which is what the company keeps. More to it then that but you get the point. So net income is the better number.

Do not be upset that Sony does not have close to the amount of money MS has so they can not do the same. Even Sony just said they will have to start buying exclusives in a interview recently. They just will never have the cash MS does.
Sony has alot more money then microsoft. Sony is everything camaras tvs bluray ps3 recording companies they make movies overall there a bigger company then microsoft they just dont spend their money on ps3 exclusives
Wrong. MS is one of the largest companies in the world. Not sure of their exact size as of today, but it's typically top 5. Plus they have a lot of cash on hand. Sony has their money tied up in hard assets.
Microsoft is no where near the top 5 largest companies in the world. I'm not really sure what microsoft owns besides microsoft and part of msnbc and msn.com. I check it out
