Protip: Those are bullshots or are running on the PC version. You're delusional if you actually think the console version will look like that.

You DONT have to move your head 90degrees to turn the in game head 90 degrees. It's variable sensitivity. I have mine set to move 90 degrees when I move my head about 5-10 degrees, so my eyes are always in the screen. And you can build one yourself for around $20, google freetrack.

By "amatuer c++ programmer" you mean you know to do to a Hello World program, right?

The majority of your post is incorrect.

To clear up some confusion in this thread:

HALF LIFE 2 CAME WITH COUNTER-STRIKE SOURCE AS ITS MULTIPLAYER COMPONENT WHEN IT WAS RELEASED. When you bought the retail box of HL2 it included Counter-Strike Source. HL2 Deathmatch didn't come out until a few months later, and it was released as a free download. Nowadays they might be seperate, but when HL2 was released CSS came with it.

This isn't love

I_Helios_I

lmfao yo man if you love Crysis more power to you!! It's just that to the FPS vets in System Wars it's just not as captivating experience as it could have been.

Vets in System Wars you say?

Uh, well sure all that stuff in Crysis is well done. How is that innovation though? Farcry had great graphics, amazing AI, an open sandbox world, etc. The stuff in Crysis is nothing new other than the few things you can do with the cloaking and maximum strength. And, really, that's all been done before as well just not so much in a FPS. I don't see anything i haven't seen before. Crysis is a great game, don't get me wrong, but it's far from being an innovation in the FPS world. Bioshock innovated, not Crysis.

Nobody said CoD4 was full of innovation either. ;)

Puckhog04

Bioshock didnt inovate in the least bit...everything in it was also in System Shock 2...it realy didnt do anything new at all.

I never played System Shock 2 to be honest. Never got around to it. Fair enough though. Crysis was far from innovating as well though. Innovation is something that isn't seen often these days and neither of these games is an exception it appears.

yet how often do you see a a Sandbox FPS?

Innovation means it's something new. Farcry did it before Crysis, hence, it's not an innovation.

FarCry never did real-time weapon customization. Neither has any other game in the same way as Crysis - that is innovation. Trees falling down on enemies bringing them to their death, another innovation. A suit that effectively gives you the ability to have many different playing styles, and even mix them up. That is innovation. A.I that realistically reacts and behaves coordinately in a large-scale environment that is ever-changing.

There's plenty of innovation in this game.

Bioshock didn't innovate anymore than Crysis did.

I don't get all the love for CoD 4. It's still CoD 1 dumbed down with a modern-day skin. Nothing to get all giddy about.
