A Chicago Newspaper endorsed him! Now way! Him being a Senator from Illinios and a community organizer in Chicago!

I think Colin Powell should have run for president on the Republican ticket. The man is greatness, his level headedness and experience would have gotten us through these tough times.

hokies1313

He would of been better than these 2 jokers thats for sure.

[QUOTE="Jaysonguy"][QUOTE="ElPadilla"]It's a very good strategy, but I don't want to be bombarded with Obama ads while I'm gaming. I'm not voting for him no matter what he says. You can't lower taxes on 95% of the country when only 50% actually pays taxes. So that means he's going to redistribute my wealth to people who don't contribute to this country. I earned my money though hard work and never with the intention of giving most of it to a socialist state to distribute as it pleases. Every democratic candidate since Truman has promised to lower taxes and ended up raising them once they get into office. Take a look at his record and his economic plan and don't become sycophants to his charisma. Jaysonguy

Everything you said there is incorrect Please research the issue before you further comment on it so you're able to discuss it fully.

Actually I'm not and you've provided no evidence to the contrary. However if I am please enlighten me and everyone else in the forum.

No, you're wrong, a lot

His plan isn't complicated
You take the top 5% of taxpayers, you increase their taxes from 36% to 39% By doing so it allows the rest of the taxpayers (that's the 95% part) to get more money in their pocket which goes right to into the economy.

The lies you're talking about with contributing to the country and such are just that, lies.

Taxes will go up and on everybody. Are you forgetting that 700 billion dollar bill that passes? Do you think that is going to come out of nowhere? Dont forget that it might be more than just 700 billion. Also do you find it unfair for those individuals that have killed themselves working hard to have the money they have. Some of those people have worked 80 hour weeks only to be slapped in the face by raising the percentage amount on their taxes. Obama was for the bail out as was McCain so I have zero respect for both of them. Obama is a politician and all politicians tell you is what they want you to hear and barely do anything they promised. Also a politician that has raised more than 50 million dollars should not be trusted since all that money is bribery money. Nobody gives you that much money just so you can be the president of the US and not pull any strings for them. Obama campaign has been about change and he has not said how he is going to change anything. My pick is Nader since he called those crooked banks out and opposed the bail out. These banks threaten our way of life by asking us to give them money or else they will freeze us out completely. Why are paying for their mistakes? They were giving out NO DOCUMENT LOAN, which means all you needed is a application and no proof of anything. Yes people jumped on it but alot of people were weasled into these loans and lied to. Its kind of hard for the average Joe american to read 100 plus pages of Mortgage mumbo jumbo and understand completely when you barely know anything about it. I know because I did mortgage loans and I had difficult time understanding everything. What you are saying are lied just repeating what Obama says but he hasnt shown any real solutions. What we need is economic minded president and Obama is not a econ major.

I don't get it :?

I'm not trying to be naive so will some body explain it w/o ****ing all over me?

clicketyclick

People make racist stereotypes that black people love KFC/friend chicken and watermelon. Among other things you see on the picture. It's a stereotype.

I'd wager that most people who eat KFC and buy watermelon are white.

I will agree to disagree. Just from my experiences.

Bush has been compared so many times with macaques that I can't even remember, and nobody complained about that.

It seems that once you make a joke with a black person, you're a racist. I'm not saying that there's no racist people that like to be offensive against black people, but there's also people that make critical jokes and that's it.

Not every joke that includes a black person is because of racism.

eloyc

I agree. Its just a joke and nothing else. Only racist people can see this as racist. So is it racist to say asians eat rice too or mexicans eat tacos? Obviously not all of them like to eat those thing but is it really something that hurts you? If it does bother you, then you are a weak person. People making fun of what you eat is not racist. Stereotypes are not racist just a good assumption of what certain nationally culture is like, which is not bad or racist.

[QUOTE="balindos"]Thought about it then I realized that I like my life and dont feel like selling my soul to a devil. Very little to gain and a whole lot to lose. DarkPrinceXC

Very little to gain? How do you figure? BTW you can die by not being in the military, FYI.

Im Bi-polar, and have numerous serious life threatening allergies.

Could I even join if I wanted to? ( I don't want to at all... curious)

raven_squad

You should be able to, there's plenty of waivers for allergies. Not sure about the Bi-Polar thing though.

What do I have to gain? Nothing special for putting my life on the line. Yes I can die by not being in the military but that still doesnt juestify placing myself where danger is at. Just sounds dumb to place yourself where bullets and bombs whiz by. Im not telling nobody to not join, its your decision but I like to spend my time with friends and family, instead of being carted around for some one elses glory.

That's your opinion, but by joining the military, you aren't "putting yourself where bullets and bombs whiz by".

Yes it is my opinion and that is what I will stick to. maybe "putting yourself" is said wrong since some one else will place you there. I know not everybody goes to battle in the military but there is always a chance for it and that chance is already to much. I like where I live and the people around me. Joining does nothing for me, my friends or my family.

How many of you out there thought Maddden was better and do you think by monopolizing the NFL license that EA killed off the motivation to really improve their series?chorne8130

I loved 2k alot better than madden. I hate that the NFL sold the license specifically to EA. No competition means no motivation to improve. Either way I will be playing FIFA till next year.

Wow what a slap in Americans faces by yourselves. Voting in a Muslim origin family into the presidency while at war with Muslims. Also as much as the media and the government have down played it, The so called terrorist have completely succeeded in destroying the American and world economy by taking the down the World Trade Center which is the American hard working symbol. I am a Nader fan but I would put McCain/Palin before Obama/Biden(Osama Bin Laden) LOL WOW, What a coinicidence that the names are like that. Change is definately coming and not in a good way.

mosdef_basic

this has to be sarcasm right?

A little bit of sarcasm but it is all true. Like said earlier, his middle name is also Hussein. All the evil names in one package. Obamas deep roots come from muslim and the US is at war with muslim countries that are screaming holy war. Hmmmmm. doesnt take a rocket science. World Trade is Americans symbol for how hard we work and it gone due to a attack by muslims. Yes our economy probably would of slowed down no matter what but not in a crisis if we and the world had those 2 great towers, this part is my opinion but the rest is on trc

He was raised by his mother who is a white woman, so what deep rooted muslim ties are you talking about?

You go back farther in his family and he is. Its in his blood and you cant deny that.
